   I love this easy set up sturdy frame. I hate the boxspring rail style that always seems to not stay together. Probably user error on my part. It does not require a bed frame, which is completely true but there is a small design flaw. There is wire supports between the more heavy duty supports. My matress alone with no box spring puts pressure on those wire supports, and they break. I am definately happy with my purchase but if you buy this frame consider a matress support between the frame and the mattress. I do not know if it matters on the style of mattress used. Ive got a spring style matress not a memory foam one for instance. I do encourage buying this frame. Just be aware it needs a mattress support along with it. I have had 3 of them break so far. I can see 2 more bent.

   Product seems really sturdy and well. Built, love the curved corners and the inset. Legs.. However, it is entirely way too tall. If you have a box spring and a mattress on top of this, there’s no way your dog is getting on the bed.So if that is your goal, this is perfect for you, just not for me.

   Nice product. I have attached photos to this so everyone can see details about it. It came in a pretty reasonable size box that was more bulky than heavy. The frame was in a plastic sealed bag within the box and once I removed them it appeared almost like 2 cots folded up on each other. I was a little bit curious at first but they are tied onto the frame itself. It was very easy to put together. First, you fold the legs out on each frame. The package comes with wing nuts that you use to attach the braces. The braces are already on the frame, you just expand them and put them over an attached bolt. Tighten down the wing nut. After you get the legs braced you slide the two frames side by side, slide a bolt and spacer from one frame to the other and tighten with a wing nut. I put my Tuft and Needle Mattress on it after I got done. Very happy with it. It’s heavily made, easy to put together. Sits high off the floor and takes up less space than my old bed frame. The best part is it makes NO NOISE. My old wooden slat bed frame and box springs sounded awful when you tossed and turned. This thing is completely silent. Well worth the money. Update: I still give this product a great review, but I kept noticing my butt felt like it sagged some. I noticed it was it was right in the middle of the bed where there is no support or bands in about a 3-inch gap. I went and got a wooden slat from my old bed frame and laid it in the gap. Can’t notice the sag anymore. I don’t necessary blame this on the frame. My mattress is a foam mattress​ so that may have some to do with it.

    Awesome, please do buy. I waited many years to get a platform bed with my mattress on the floor. What a horrible hassle. This bed frame has been such a life saver. My arthritis and migraines with nausea have made getting up and down again very miserable from a mattress on the floor. Making my bed on the floor was super horrible. Hurt my back so much. There’s several brands to choose from, but this one is really the best brand after comparing them all. It’s built very sturdy and solid. My roommate and I put together a queen size frame in a matter of minutes didn’t need a pliers or screw driver etc. My roommate complains of having to help me do anything lol, but he wasn’t really complaining of doing this, it was so easy. I got my queen size for around $50, on sale during Xmas. They come in two pieces and you just snap them together. No noise when I toss and turn either, which I do most of the night, every night. The frame is black and also has some really cool legs on it. They have black foam wraps on it and it looks really cool, they look kind of like the show jumping horses legs with those pretty leg wraps on. Also it fits the bed perfectly, I have heard of other reviewers saying another brand was to big around the bottom of the frame to fit the bed correctly. This frame doesn’t stick out anywhere. It fits the mattress. It’s 14 inches off the ground, plenty of storage room underneath. I am 5’3 by the way and my feet touch the floor when sitting on this bed. They have 18 inch taller bed frames but unless you are tall I don’t think you would need it. I think these bed frames would be perfect for any need, they fold up so easily for travel etc. I am not planning on moving but for a dorm, or a extra room or for a master bedroom, they are awesome. They fold up easily for storage. I didn’t get a bed skirt, but I don’t really need one and the frame itself looks really nice without one. If you find any of this review helpful please click it as so. This seriously is the best purchase I’ve probably ever made. I waited a long time to get this on sale at Bedframes.shop and am so glad I did. Also none of the bed frame was bent or damaged from coming in the mail. Put your fears aside and get this it’s so well worth it. Also if you have mice, bedbugs or spiders it will make it a lot harder for them to get on your bed as it is 14 inches off the ground. Everyone should have one of these platform bed frames. Another plus is that your dog or cat or pet can crawl underneath it and rest, most pets will like this. Also if you have asthma or allergies getting rid of a box spring or even just getting your mattress off the floor can help. I keep my mattress in a zippered mattress cover to protect me from asthma or allergies, also it protects against bedbugs, they are truly everywhere in America right now. Overall getting your mattress off the floor can be very beneficial. A great buy worth it’s weight in gold.

    After doing extensive searching for a basic bed frame for my twin xl hybrid mattress, I stumbled upon this one and saw the good reviews. So I decided to take a chance on this one. Turned out to be a great piece solidly built in a convenient and simple design. Thought it would be possibly bad because it seemed a bit cheaper than others online but glad I was wrong. First there’s no installation on this that needs assembled like a ikea piece. You get it in its folded format in the box, take it out, unfold it and just lock the pieces to operational mode. Solidly made out of all metal, and so far takes my weight (I’m a big guy and my hybrid mattress is kinda heavy too) like a champ. But by far the best part on this is that the frame doesn’t make any noise. I roll over many times during the night in bed and this frame has not so much as made even the tiniest of squeaks. And because of it’s fold design, if i ever move I can convenient transport it anywhere. Great buy for sure.

    This wasn’t hard to build at all ! if you just really pay attention to the way the parts look and set it all out to overlook , it’ll be easy to put together . It took me maybe 45-50 minutes to do it on my own. It comes with the screws and the tools so you don’t need anything extra but scissors to cut the ties off . It holds up the bed really well & doesn’t make any noises! I highly recommend these rails !

    I was just in looking around the market for a new matress and decided to look at when I brought this bed frame. I brought it in 2014 and it is now 2024, so this is a really great product. I looked under my matress and noticed that one of the spokes is coming out. But its where I typically flop down on my bed, everything else is in excellent condition. It is a bit squeaky, if I am moving around on it alot. *Hint, Hint* In the beginning I don’t think it was that squeaky, can’t really remember.

    I needed a frame to support queen innerspring mattress for long term guest. The design of this frame allowed me to overlap a sofa deck, occupying less floor space in my rec room. I simply left the legs at the head of the frame folded and rested the frame on the deck of the sofa, (picture an open sofa bed with a real mattress and a sturdy and silent frame). I couldn’t be more pleased with this ingenious frame. It set up in seconds, (literally), is very sturdy, and completely quiet. It provides exceptional support for the 12″ innerspring mattress.. Some reviews mention sharp edges, toe stub hazards, etc… these reviews are either off base or the manufacturer has responded and corrected these issues. I found no sharp edges that might snag a mattress and the center support legs are now wrapped in foam to prevent injury from stubbing a toe. I might add that I’ve encountered many beds, over the years, that present toe stub hazards…kind of the nature of the beast. The long story short is that this is a quality frame that provides exceptional support. What you might choose for a mattress is what it is. Obviously, 4 inches of foam is not going to perform as well as a quality mattress. This is a bed platform, not a magic carpet.

    Alright I was working hard to protect 4 antique bed frames to modern slat base with memory foam mattress. This has been the best most stable solution because the legs are mostly indented—except the two in the middle where I had to compromise the old style ledge (see the pic).     This is the first time I got this 14″ full sized bed platform for my new full sized mattress because I wanted one without needing to purchase a box spring. I can say that after a couple days I am very pleased and satisfied with what I got. This bed platform was very easy to set up. I did it all by myself with no help. No wasting time trying to put the legs and slats together because this comes in practically two pieces. All I had to do was to follow the instructions and put the screws in for the legs and join the two metal platforms together. It is very stable on my carpet floor and is very sturdy now that I have my mattress and comforter on top. I’m only 5’0″ and about 120 lbs so I don’t see this platform possibly bending or collapsing from my regular use. Even if I use the bed with a heavier person on there I think it is still very stable. I have not heard any squeaking as I was rolling around and moving on my bed. I also like that they included some nonslip adhesive strips as it helped keep my bed skirt in place while I placed my new mattress on top. I didn’t get a headboard so I’m not sure how easy it is to install any headboard outside of the brand. I am currently renting a room in a house and storage space has been pretty limited to me. I was able to fit a lot of things underneath the smartbase, including my shoes, styrofoam cooler, some clothes, bags, and clean containers and food jars. Pretty much any storage container under 13″ in height can fit underneath the base. The diagonal bars that hold the legs in place and legs in the middle of the base are in the way, so if you have any wide and tall storage containers then you have to be a little careful. If you need to fit standard storage containers, I would recommend getting the taller smartbase such as the 16″ or 18″. For someone of my height with a 14″ base plus 8” mattress and a 2″ mattress topper, I did not have trouble getting on and off of my bed. My feet dangle about 2-3″ off the ground now. I could imagine that any smartbase greater than 14″ would give my bed a lot of height. Overall I am very happy that I got this base. You can probably tell that the black cat in one of my pictures is very pleased, too. I would argue that even if you don’t need much bed storage space, this is a great bedroom essential to have because it is easy for one person to put together, dismantle, and move and you can easily add height to your bed without sacrificing its stability and sturdiness. And with a good bed skirt and comforter, you’ll forget that you even have a metal bed platform!

    It seems fairly pointless to give another 5-star review to a product that already has over 10,000 5-star reviews. Nonetheless, some questions still seem to be left unanswered, especially with all the products items listed under the same page. I bought the king size bed frame, but I bought it to use for my twin size beds. It fits, somewhat. The king size frame is actually two smaller frames, joined side-by-side with two wingnuts. There were several questions wondering if each of the two smaller frames could be used separately for twin beds. The answer is yes, but the frame is actually 5 inches too long for a twin mattress. Let’s go into some dimensions: Approximate mattress sizes: King size: 76″W x 80″L Queen: 60″W x 80″L Full: 54″W x 75″L Twin: 39″W x 75″L Twin-XL: 39″W x 80″L Each of the two frames that make up the king size frame measures about 38″Wx80″L. As you can see, this frame fits the width of a twin mattress (give or take an inch), but is 5 inches longer than a twin mattress. It’ll still work, but you’ll have some extra frame sticking out. I was considering using these 5 inches to build a wooden bed counter. Also note that this frame fits a twin-xl perfectly. When the two frames are bolted together, you end up with a 77″Wx80″L frame. If you’re doing the math, you might be wondering how two 38″ widths ended up in a 77″ width. That’s because the two edges of the frames don’t touch each other; there is approximately 1 inch between the two frames due to rivets for the hinges at the center of the frame. The dimensions still work out well for a king size bed. The frame itself was extremely easy to assemble. It came with instructions, but the process is self-explanatory. It took more time getting the frames out of the box than it did to put them together, which only requires the use of the included wingnuts. No tools are necessary. The spacing of the slats are a tad wide that I feel the urge to put something over it to protect the springs of my mattress. Nonetheless, it feels fine lying on it and there are no squeaks. I was also immediately able to store a few boxes, my vornado fan and other random item under the bed. Overall, this bed frame certainly lives up to its hype. If you’re considering buying a king size to use a two separate bed frames, note that each separate frame would fit a twin-xl nicely, but would be 5 inches too long for a standard twin mattress.

    After assembling the frame, I noticed that the rows I’m supposed to put the bars into are upside down in two different corners of my bed. As soon as I put my mattress on and sat down, HALF of all of the bars popped out onto the floor! We just finished doing an 8 hour move and this was one of the most frustrating ways to end our day! We just wanted to sleep, and in order to do that we had to go get industrial strength zip ties to wrap around 8 different bars to prevent the bed from popping apart so we could finally go to bed. I don’t have time to return it and wait for another one so now I have to just make do with this. Extremely inconvenient.

    Outstanding quality . 1. Comes with an actual tool- a ratcheted allen wrench! To assemble with. The tool itself is quality, heavy and sturdy , and made assembly much easier . I’ve never had any item come with a ratcheted Allen wrench. Assembly was quick , one person , 15 minutes , using this tool . I DID read the directions first lol. ALL the parts were present and everything matched up – no ‘ off ‘ holes or bolts etc . 2. Great construction and finish quality . The frame is on sliders in the picture – but you can see the smooth sheen on the finish and the thickness of the steel . It’s holding a 12 inch thick memory foam mattress here. 3. Legs are inset ,making for a sturdy frame ( this is a twin ) and most of all preventing your toes from ramming into the legs when you approach the bed or make it etc. ( see pictures) This feature is hard to find and it makes a huge difference for many people. Me especially . 4. Price was excellent . 5. Shipping was super fast . 6. Packing was Great- sturdy flat box , and everything was organized perfectly within.     easy to follow instructions and mostly easy to build. the only thing that gave me a slight problem was how hard it was to get some of the poles into the bed. a couple were half an inch too big so i had to hit it really hard to get it in (first photo shows the poles i’m referencing). another reason why i gave four stars and not five, there’s no lip to keep the bed from sliding. it moves very easily. had trouble keeping my bed in place while putting on a fitted sheet. on another note, my baby approves of the space underneath 🤣

    Make sure to check this middle piece. This must face the outside and not the inside towards the center. We needed a king bed fast due to bed sharing with our daughter at the time. This worked perfectly without any creaking until we moved. We disassembled and reassembled but didn’t do it with the instructions the second time around since we thought it was pretty self explanatory….. We didn’t mind the noise until we had another baby and we couldn’t get in or out of the bed without it waking her up. I checked to make sure all the screws were tight and clamps were in place. I checked my side of the bed and made sure the pictured piece was facing the outside of the bed. I never thought to check my husband’s side. I finally flipped his side around and omg!!! This whole time we had this set up wrong. It’s perfect again. Although this was always meant to be a temporary solution for a king bed, it’s been a pretty good bed to us.
