   I had a twin bed and was time to upgrade so I was in search of a queen & I found this one on Bedframes.shop. The one that I bought is the “NEW SMALL BOX” Style, not the “ORIGINAL BOX”. Reason being is because I noticed the “original box” only offers ‘TOP & BOTTOM SUPPORT’ Not all the way around like the ‘New Small Box’ does. Anyways, so far, I’m really happy with it, I got TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT, RIGHT, Support and just lovin it!!! Super easy to setup & put together, comes with the rachet tool and simple instructions to help you build it!!! (I’m gonna come back again in 3 months to see how it is) So far it’s great!!! 🥰

   I did a lot of research before I decided to pick this king size bed frame. This had the look I wanted, the right height, and I was able to get it at a good price as an open box deal through Bedframes.shop Warehouse. It said open box, like new and they did not disappoint. The top was ripped off the original package, but Bedframes.shop put it in a bigger shipping box. I took everything out and did a thorough inspection of each part and everything looked brand new. There were no missing parts and it even came with instructions. It was very easy to assemble, took about 15 minutes and I was by myself. I like that they included a tool to tighten everything down. I decided to cut a few 2×4 pieces to size and mount them to the metal support bracket in the center. In my research for the perfect bed frame, I found the biggest complaint was the middle support bracket bending and breaking its welds. So hopefully this will not happen with the added support. I put a 12 inch mattress on it, and this seems to be the perfect height for me when I sit on it, I am 6 feet tall. This frame works great with a stand on its own headboard.

   I purchased the frame about a month ago (Dec 17th) and it’s now January 14th. I needed an inexpensive frame and thought this upholstered ZINUS would be a good purchase. One side of the frame is already bowing. I believe there is plastic alongside and under the fabric to keep the fabric looking even. That plastic is bowing in several areas along one side of the frame. The other side appears to be okay. I don’t believe there is any structural or safety issues but I got a fabric frame to make it a bit prettier rather than just getting a metal frame. In hindsight I should have just gotten a metal frame instead. I’ve uploaded a picture showing an example of one bow with the mattress moved over a bit so you can see it a bit better. There are three total. Maybe some staples came apart? Not sure and can’t really tell without removing the fabric. It’s functional so returning it would be a waste of time and resources. Just adding my experience for others in case it helps with a buying decision. Aside from this, it’s been a solid frame and good purchase but I suspect it won’t hold up as long as a metal only frame.

   I hate hate hate putting together home furnishings especially bed frames, they always seem to be overcomplicated and cheap. I was worried when I bought this frame because of the price and a company I had never heard of, I was wrong to worry. Starting off the construction of this product is fantastic for the price, it’s real wood mixed with some particle board but the attachment metals are thick and the slotted baseboards are pretty heavy duty. The next thing I noticed was how easy they made the assembly. You have 4 major pieces that all connect with pre-installed screws and brackets, you literally loosen a few screws drop the pieces in and tighten it all up and you are more than half way done. They also. Include a little ratcheted allen wrench which is a nice addition. The packaging was well done and conservative, they didn’t use a tons of plastic or Styrofoam that wasn’t needed. I have used this for about a week and as a 300lb 6″3 man it has held extremely well no squeaking or wiggling at all. If I could give them more than 5 I would.

   I put this bed frame together all by myself in 15 minutes.. It is absolutely beautiful and the wood slats are genius they have amazing Velcro that’s perfectly spaced… So when you place them down it’s a no-brainer and they do not slide! The upholstery on here is quality and it is beautiful! I’m going to be recommending this bed to anyone looking for a platform frame! I’m telling you guys this is five stars!

   I got this frame for under $170 and I’m very happy with it. Easy assembly made it go together pretty quickly. I switched to this frame over my metal platform because the metal one squeaked every time I turned in my sleep and kept me awake. As someone who flip flops like a fish in my sleep a silent frame was very necessary. Quiet, sturdy and cute! The only thing I wish it had was more room for storage, there is only 6 inches of space between the floor and the bottom of the rails so my 6.5 inch storage bins no longer fit unless I lift the side of the bed and I’m too lazy to lift up my bed every time I want to get into one of them. Other than that, love it!

    Oct 2018 still love my! Slats on queen size 3 inches apart. Jul 2018 Arrived as promised. Very easy to assemble, even for just one female, senior person. Comes with picture directions, just no wording. Not really needed other than maybe order of assembly. If you are putting together by yourself, Recommend raising the frame to get it off the floor to facilitate getting the legs screwed in. I used boxes. Slats are connected by a Velcro ribbon which Velcros to the frame, keeping them in place. Slats come in 2 sections. Eliminated the guess work of placing and slipping of slats. I would have given 4 1/2 stars because of the legs. They are plastic and seem to be somewhat hollow, but do the job. They have texture that from a distance make them look like wood. Very quite bed frame, no noises during sleeping or getting on or off the bed. Modern, beautiful and classy looking. Overall Very happy with purchase, especially for the price,

    We purchased this back in mid- February and we are now in nearing July. We decided to get a totally new bed at the earlier end of my pregnancy and I was super impressed for the first 4 months. Last night we woke up to a rather loud POP noise and the sides of the base actually split on both mine and my husband’s side. We are not very large people and do not have our kiddo jumping on the bed or anything. I am now worried being 6 months pregnant and the entire base giving way. I will be putting a ticket in the the manufacturer to see if we can get new pieces sent to us. Depending on how that goes I’ll update my review. I think we may stick to IKEA if we decided to get another platform style base…

    We bought this bed for our teenage son, my husband and I were dreading putting it together, but to our surprise, this was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever assembled. All of the bolts are already placed where they are supposed to go, all you have to do is loosen them a bit and slide the pieces together and tighten. The support slats are attached together and fasten by velcro which will make it so easy to take apart! Seems very sturdy after assembly… Took us 15 minutes from start to finish and looks great 🙂

    This is my first time buying a frame online and after a lot of research reviews and photos, I settled for the Zinus Upholstered Platform bed. My original intent was to buy a full sized frame and mattress but It was on sale in the Queen size for a steal ($115 I think). It arrived right on queue, and the shipping tracking worked well. Positives +Upholstered fabric gives the bed a more expensive look +has long legs that you screw in +easy enough to figure out without directions +It looks glamorous once it’s all put together. +slats fit perfectly and the design in intuitive to put together. +love the VELCRO SLATS. Very sturdy. +Comes with its own Ratchet to screw/unscrew Negatives -No instructions (figured t out by myself) -HEAVY AF (could not carry it by myself, friends hand got injured helping) -You feel panicked bc you think the pieces are missing -Dislike how you could get plenty of splinters if you’re not careful with the slats and the inside of the frames -Had to guess which side was the header Now while I’m writing some negatives to beware about, my experience was great and I didn’t mind the experience but if any of the negatives could be a problem to you, def beware. Its a 5/5 stars for me.

    The frame arrived on time. Packaging changed since some of early reviews as components are not stuffed into lining of side pieces. As a 71 year old woman I was able to assemble quickly and by myself. Put pieces together with screws half tightened and when all pieces in place went around and tightened all the pieces. Allen key and mini ratchet provided. Upholstery is attractive. Bed is solid and there is no sound when moving around the bed. Slats are 3 inches apart which is recommended for a foam mattress. Slats are a solid wood. Legs are a dense plastic and have a “glider” disk attached to bottom to facilitate moving but bed and mattress are heavy and not sure how easy moving the bed will be for cleaning but at least floor wouldn’t be damaged. Would recommend for anyone needed a base for a foam mattress.

    Looking for a minimalist bed frame, this is it! Super easy to assemble, low in cost, and easy on the eyes. This is no IKEA bed frame so it will free up a couple of hours from your day for assembly. Plus, with delivery to your front door for an item of this size, you can’t beat it.

    You’d think with the wood slats being included that this would be a hugely heavy and large box, but no! They are smart and put the wood slats inside the bed frame. This will also make it super easy in case of a move or something. Huge bonus points there!

    Yes, there is no headboard, so if you’re looking for a frame with a headboard you’ll need to look at a different model. We upgraded to a king mattress from a queen and we actually gained space because our previous frame was so bulky!

    I’m writing this review because my husband, who never writes reviews, so I should. He raved about the packing it arrived in, the Styrofoam corners were wrapped in plastic, making them stronger, and therefore avoiding damage to the bed itself. The tool sent, not your typical hexagon/Allen tool, he just loves. I included a picture of the tool, which also acts as a ratchet. The price is also great, what more could you ask for?

    Received the bed a day early, which was great! The bed was packaged nicely and the assembly was super easy. My friend and I put it together and we’re not the type of girls that know how to build things. I have the foam topper on it at the moment and just waiting on the mattress which is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. This is a full size bed. Perfect for the size of my room.     I spent a lot of time looking for a new bed frame that was also cost effective until settling on this one. As someone who doesn’t build much, it was reassuring seeing preteens putting this frame together themselves. And the fact that 12 year olds can easily build this is definitely not a lie. Not only was this frame ridiculously easy to build by myself (in 20 minutes or less), it had all the hooks and screws pre-placed to make the process that much faster. And once you’re done, it looks beautiful. My only complaint so far is that it is a bit hard to get underneath the frame once it’s placed, so if you’re looking for storage this may not be the best choice. I only found this out as I have air tubes connected to the back of my bed and generally keep the remotes plugged in and stored underneath. But for a simple modern look that moves away from metal only, this was an amazing find!

    I’m a buy and forget kind of guy. I don’t care about reviews (usually). However, I’m absolutely blown away at the engineering and forethought that was put into this frame. From start to finish this took me about 10 minutes to assemble, and that’s just farting around. I casually put this together in 10 minutes from opening the package. They included a PERFECT ratchet tool for tightening the bolts down! The slats were Velcro instead of screwing them in. GENIUS. This bed is solid, and i’m a biggun at 285lbs. I would absolutely buy this again but luckily this thing feels like it will last a lifetime. If you’re looking for a solid, easy to assemble and great looking platform bed. Just buy it, you will not be disappointed. Simple, solid and great lookin’!

    I received the frame about mid-day while my husband and I were home. Due to the size and weight of the box, I recommend two people move it around and/or bring it up stairs. The set up was straight forward. I’ve read some people complain about the lack of instructions and their dislike with the picture instructions but honestly, you don’t need the instructions to put it together. You unscrew some bolts, slide the pieces into place, screw the bolts tight to secure and viola! You’ve put the frame together. This legitimately took me and my husband less than 10 minutes to put together THAT’S how straight forward and easy this is. I looked at the instructions twice very briefly. Once to see the labels for the pieces and twice to see how to put the slats down. Easy peasy. I love the look of it. The gray is simple and chic. You can’t really see it in the picture I took but it’s a nice charcoal/dark grey with specs of black. It’s put up in the guest room so we haven’t tested it out yet but I don’t believe we’ll have any issues with sturdiness. Maybe if we had kids who jumped around a lot there would be issues. I am very satisfied with the frame and highly recommend it to others.

    Had I not read a review telling me where the instructions and legs are stored, I would have been at a loss. Putting the platform together was not that difficult for one person. Although the instructions are only pictures with no “written” instructions, I had watched a YouTube video prior to starting and that helped immensely. My only real complaint is that using the hex wrench is not that easy. Its not possible to spin the wrench around because of the proximity of the side rail and the ledge on the side rail. You must put the hex wrench in, turn it less than half a turn, take it out, reposition it, insert it, and turn it less than half a turn again. Would have been nice to have a small screw driver with a hex head. Maybe next time. Velcro was very handy and easy to position. I would recommend this to any family or friend.

    Product quality exceeded my expectations and the company put really thoughtful notes and took care in the packaging. Putting it together was effortless, it’s very sturdy, fits my queen sized mattress, no squeaking, wasn’t too heavy to move on my own once put together in place ( I’m 120lbs with a hurt arm). Even had a sticky pad so the mattress doesn’t slide on it even tho I doubt it’d slide anyway. Good height once put together up off the floor and still has some space to put something under the bed if I wanted to but you can’t see it when standing up. No smell when opening it. Took all of maybe 20/30 minutes to unbox, put together, put it in place, throw the trash away and slap my mattress on it. Myself, my partner, and my two putbulls combined weight is about 450lbs and it held us all no issues, no sliding. ONE CON- one corner bracket that screws the bases together the bracket was bent. Could have been the way it was in the package or could have been me taking it out the box? Not a big deal I just hammered it back in place in two seconds and it slid right in where it needed to.

    I love that I got a decent bed frame for an inexpensive price. When I first purchased it, I didn’t even consider the reviews & just waited for delivery. When I was browsing the reviews day of delivery I read people talking about bed bugs? I was mortified & waited anxiously so I could check it— none to be found. Those reviews still confuse me considering the bed was packaged so nicely, how could they invade like that? Anyways, assembly was done in 20 minutes (timed) & was a piece of cake. The instructions were clear & plainly written with picture & they even provided tools. The bed was creaking when I first purchased it, but after a few weeks of owning it, it doesn’t do it so much. New metal I guess. Anyways, it’s holding up & couldn’t be happier.

    Got this on prime day for a nice $79.99. Took only two days to ship. And went home on break and built it in half any hour. Comes with a ratchet and all the screws are already in place minus the two for the middle bar. So I had to do was unscrew them slightly. Click the bars in. And then screw them back up. And it is so much nicer then my old bed frame. 10/10 would buy it again if I need one.

    I put this together and the last screw wouldn’t go into the bracket. Tried another screw and concluded the issue is the screw socket in the bracket. Contacted Customer Support, sent a picture and informed them which bracket per their assembly diagram. At first they were very helpful and responsive but today I received an email saying the part is not available and I should disassemble it, box it back up, and return to Bedframes.shop. That is so lame. It’s not worth my time to return and I suppose I could drill it out tap for another screw, which is messy and time consuming. Never buy Zinus again, so many other better choices if you pay more. Overall, this is nowhere near the quality and durability of my other bed frame which is a Nectar.

    I bought this bed frame to install around my Queen adjustable bed base. It fit pretty good. I didn’t use the legs and just set it on the floor. It keeps the dogs from going under. I only had to loose the bracket screws , slide the panels on and retighten the screws….very simple. My plan was NOT to use as a platform bed to begin with. It suited my purpose very well. The price was very reasonable. its a metal frame wrapped in padding and fabric. The panel width is approximately 7.75 Inches wide when my bed is in the flat position there is only a 2″ gap between my bed platform and new frame. The quality of this bed frame is more than I expected. Very happy with my purchase!!!!

    I ordered this like 4 days ago and received Dec 18 and assembled. I really like the way this looks. The slacks with the velcro made it easy to space apart. I ended up buying a motion detection led strip lights as you see in the pictures. The reason i gave 4 stars is because of the legs. They are plastic and noticed that the bed shakes. Overall, I would recommend this but be cautious of the legs

    I bought this bedframe in August of 2023. It is now March 2024. I am a single guy, 6ft 200lbs. So just me sleeping on the bed. I do drop into bed, I lay down normally and relatively gently. After 3 months, one side broke, but not all the way. It was still manageable, but had to rotate the bed/frame and sleep on the other side. Now the “not broke” side is starting to make cracking sounds and some rough ridges are starting to appear through the upholstered part on this side. Needless to say, it will break eventually. This is an ok solution for short term use, or for a guest room. This is NOT suitable for everyday use.

    We received the bed mid/Late February, and we DID like it. However, A few weeks after we set it up, I started having issues being bitten by something. We searched for weeks trying to find the source, but couldn’t. Last week, we found a bed bug. Our Exterminator came and checked it out and discovered a NEST inside the bed frame!! I have videos of all of the bugs that we found. Hundreds of eggs, shells, live ones of every stage of the cycle. So now we are out of a bed frame because we had to throw it in the dumpster, PLUS our apartment is charging us almost $400 plus fees to do the extermination! We have had to throw out clothes, furniture, toys, electronics, and other things, not to mention spending hours getting everything in the apartment set up to be treated. We don’t even know for sure if we have gotten them all yet. if they have to treat again, we have to pay again. And if they have to treat any of our neighbors, we have to pay theirs too. I have scars all over my body from the bites, and have had to take medicine several times because they’ve gotten infected. The frame is LONG gone now. We had to bag it up and tape it up and dump it. Pay a little more and get your bed elsewhere!
