This bed frame looked great at first and was easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the rubber pieces that hold the slats (small metal bars that support the mattress) started falling apart after about two months. Then, a few months later, one of the welded joints cracked and the frame just fell apart. I found that the metal used is very thin and the joint was improperly welded which caused the frame to fail.

My son is turning 6 soon and his bedroom was in desperate need of a “big boy” makeover. I’m so glad I found this bed for it because it’s perfect. It’s a very simple platform bed, but the wood plank on the headboard and footboard is a very nice touch. The American Oak color is grayish, just as it appears in the listing photos, and is very pretty. The twin mattress from my son’s previous bed fits perfectly. It was easy to put together and is extremely sturdy. With a weight limit of 300 pounds, I feel comfortable knowing that my son should be good to go with this bed for quite a while.

The center support is hard on the toes when you walk up to the bed and forgot to watch out for it! Careful when tucking in kids!

This bed is much better than I expected. It’s perfect for my small guest room and was very easy to assemble. I did it alone, and I’m not very handy! I would suggest having someone around to give you a hand holding pieces in place simply to make it a quicker process. Highly recommend !

I ordered two of these beds for my little boys room that we are remodeling first bed was easy as pie to assemble looked great very sturdy- second bed had the all of the missing brackets for the base of the bed. Customer service was a HUGE pain. And ended up being a headache to deal with. Didn’t get replacement parts or a refund.
