I was able to assemble this bed fairly easily – most of what you use to put it together is just an allen wrench! And that’s included in the bundle of hardware that comes with it. It was also super easy to take apart again when I relocated – and super easy to put back together. It has that vintage flare to it, which I love – but it’s a great functional and sturdy bed frame 🙂

After a long time sleeping on a Boxspring I wanted to have a bed frame again and found myself frustrated with all these tufted bed frames that cost way over $600 for a Cal King. Then I saw this one and I was a little skeptical since it was on sale for $99 and reviews ranged from very good to bad. The bed was delivered with FedEx 3 days earlier than estimated. The package was heavy but manageable for a female alone. The parts are numbered and easy to find. The instructions are clear and easy. Everything aligned perfect and the seller has 1 spare of every screw in the box. The bed is sturdy, does not squeak or makes any noise. And lastly: You don’t need a Boxspring with this bed. The mattress in the picture is the old queen size mattress. Since the bed was delivered before the mattress.

Got this almost all put together , and realized it has two big blemishes , right where you can see it . There’s 1 on the headboard and 1 on the footboard . Too bulky to deal with a return , so I guess I deal with it , but I’m pretty disappointed about the big chip and large raised Welding scar/mark in the metal . It’s not in a spot I can hide it at all. The color is awesome , very unique. Super vintage look that I wanted. Seems sturdy enough. Will update if the company offers a refund.

Acceptable for the Price – But Poor Design- I purchased because it was cheap and didn’t require a box spring. However I quickly learned if you use quality bedding , be prepared for what ever the bed is coated in to rub off on your bedding. My hands after assembly were covered in something from handling the bed. The bed frame/boxspring part does NOT come down to the end of the bed so using a dust ruffle/bed skirt looks ridiculous, so I had to get creative and run a string along the end of the bed so my bed skirt would have something to hang over and meet the end (footboard) of the bed. LAST major MAJOR design flaw is the middle side floor supports for the bed rails unless you like stubbed , broken , smashed toes on the daily then I had to wrap those supports with a pool Noodle and tape. I still run into them , but atleast it cushions the pain. I do hope you find my review helpful when looking to purchase a cheap poorly designed bed.

I needed to furnish an entire apartment with about a month of notice, and wanted something cute and cheap. This fit the bill!! It was a little frustrating to put together, but once I got it set up I fell in love! It’s pretty and comfortable. Fits my mattress fine. There’s a good amount of space underneath which is convenient if you need that for storage. True to dimensions listed. Note that the assembly hardware (washers/bolts) are a funny rainbow/iridescent gold, so while they blend in better than traditional silver/bronze/black hardware it does still kinda stick out. Also, be careful when shifting the mattress around while making the bed, as if you’re not patting attention while stuffing linens under the mattress you may dislodge one or more of the support bars— not catastrophic on its own, but obviously the frame will have more longevity if all the supportive parts stay where they’re meant to. Overall I’d recommend!!

Ordered the queen frame in black: I’d say definitely grab a friend, roomie or partner for help assembling and for carrying upstairs weight wise, instructions read well, having two people to hold the frame together is what’s key! I ordered this for my Mom’s guest bedroom, I’ve slept on it and no complaints! Finish seems good quality, didn’t notice anything off when putting it together. So far so good, seems sturdy! There is ample space underneath for storage as well. Not sure about noise, I didn’t notice any while getting on or off the bed.

Overall, this seems like a solid, affordable bed!! Took a little over an hour to put together with 2 people (we used drill bits to tighten most of the middle pieces so that saved a lot of time). Although a bit overwhelming, directions were fairly clear and I liked that the screws/metal pieces were all labeled. If you put it on hardwood, it might slide a bit. Overall, so far so good.

This is a very beautiful bedframe and I dont have many complaints but my one complaint is the legs underneath that hold the bed up do not tighten completely and then they bend underneath the bed and break. Im not sure why this design choice but it’s a pretty big design flaw. The nuts do not tighten completely and we have to very often go under the bed to straighten the legs that have fallen over. It’s really bizarre. This wasn’t an issue when we lived in a home with carpet i think because it maybe kept them from slipping but it is now that we have hardwood floors. Also if you have hardwood floors do not get this bed. It is apparantly super slick and slides everytime we lay down for bed. We have tried grips for the bottom and all they do it fall off and don’t help much at all. This bed has also scratched my hardwood floor pretty severely.

I bought this for my toddler who is transitioning out of her toddler bed and to a big girl bed. Super easy to put together and great quality. I was able to put it together by myself in a couple of hours using only the tools in the kit. My hubs and I are both over 200 lbs and we can lay on the bed next to my toddler without worrying it’s going to break. The only reason I’m not putting 5 stars is because there were no screws to hold the horizontal bars in place so they rolled a bit when I first put them in. Once we put her mattress on it was fine!

Based off of previous reviews I did know the headboard wasn’t as high as it looked in pictures, and the bronze color is not at all what I expected. I’ll probably spray paint it eventually. Likes: Very sturdy, great support; simple lines but with enough flair to not be boring Niggles: Took my grown son three hours to assemble (“tedious” was the word he used), and he’s experienced at this stuff. So be prepared to be patient, even though the directions were clear. Would probably be faster/easier with two people. Also, I wish the headboard spindles were higher, because they’re barely visible even with a single layer of pillows. Any decorative pillows hide them completely. And where the center support meets the floor on the side of the bed is a huge toe-stubbing hazard, so expect a bit of a learning curve to avoid owies. But for the price, can’t really complain. It looks good and I’m sure will serve me well for years.

I bought this as a spare bed. It wasn’t terrible to assemble but having two people was very helpful and it took us under an hour because some holes did not line up properly. The support beams just set in place and are not attached but there are holes so they can be attached just no screws with it. The bed arrived earlier than expected and one of the metal bars had several significant scratches on it which I just faced that to the wall.

It took about 30 minutes for me to put this together by myself. It’s not going to last forever but, neither is my tween in a twin. It arrived wonderfully packaged, no scratches, no dents, no bends, and all parts accounted for. Just put it together by myself and it took about 2 hours. While it might be faster with two people, it is very doable with one person. I’m obsessed with the color and make of this frame already! It does not seem to squeak or wobble so far and I like how many rows it has to support my mattress (last frame I had did not have enough so it sagged). The foot of the bed come right to my mattress like I wanted but the back is just above my pillows standing up. I’m excited to sleep on it tonight but so far, I think this is a great bang for your buck!

I was very excited to set this up, I have a new mattress on the way today and now I am unable to use this frame. It seemed very well packaged but after opening it up I found pieces that the gold was already flaking off, and then when I opened and head and foot board, they are completely bent and cracked. I cannot even put this together. The resolution of return this item is hard because it is big and bulky and shipping alone was $39. I am so disappointed and now out of $168 and would not recommend purchasing.
