   The bed was delivered to the wrong house however, it came in one box and wasn’t hard to move around. It was easy to assemble and it looks beautiful. It looks like it came from a big furniture store. It looks great. I thought it was too low without a box spring but I bought a boxspring and it looks perfect.

   My biggest issue is theheadboard was more of a beige/tan color than ivory/cream as shown in the example photo. The setup wasn’t too difficult, but some of the wood pieces are pretty flimsy. You get what you pay for.

   The bed is made very sturdy. I’m am very happy with it. The reason it only got 4 stars is as follows: 1) The machining of the back bolt holes on the headboard, was done poorly. I had to deepen the holes approximately 1/8″ using wood chisels to get the bolts to mount. 2) Several people have mentioned that the color of fabric is not a light cream color as in the photo. It is very much a tan or brown color. (See my photo above.) I was aware of this when I purchased it and I was good with the color. But I like the others don’t like deceptive add photos. But with these exceptions, the bed is a good value.

   We were able to assemble the bed without any of the horror stories of reviewers past. All parts came in in great condition, and the wood of the bed is deeply colored and sturdy. There are typical alignment issues with assembly, and it did smell like polyurethane for a few hours after opening the box. To avoid stressing the chinesium frame, we’ll put a box spring under the mattress.
