It’s a nice, solid bed. It was relatively easy to put together (although it took WAY longer than the 40 minutes in the instrucctions). However, it is a BEAST to make the bed. The bed sits low (no box springs), and the mattress is extremely tight up to the footboard, so it’s very difficult to get the fitted sheet, top sheet, and a comforter between the mattress and footboard. Because it’s so low it hurts my back to bend over (I’m in my 60s). I love the look of it, and it will last quite a while since it’s all metal, but be forewarned if you have back issues. Also, I bought a king-sized bunky board to sit between the metal slats and the mattress to add extra stability to the mattress (so it doesn’t start sinking in between the slats).

All in all, it’s worth the price for the durability and look, but less so for the practical day-to-day chore of making the bed or changing the sheets.
