The frame is nice and I like the headboard, however the way you have to put in the wood pieces can be a headache and I’m also wondering what happens when I move, I won’t be able to take the part the mattress lays on apart, because the plastic pieces that snap into the frame break if you try to take them out.
* when putting them together, do 2 pieces of wood at once (one for each side) and connect to all the plastic holders and lay in a line and then snap. It’s impossible to do one side and then try to slide the other wood piece in for the other side!
I feel like that part is a silly invention and doesn’t allow for taking apart and moving. Unless I’m missing something on a way to do that!

I ordered this as a surprise to redo a guest room while hubby was away on guy weekend. It was delivered on time and I (53 F) was able to get it upstairs and put it together myself. It is. It is not difficult to put together but there are a lot of pieces- I don’t see how one person could do this in less than 2 hours of quick work.
As others stated, the support bar in the center is awkwardly placed and painful as heck if you hit it. I used some plumbing insulation in black to protect toes.
It looks wonderful and is relatively sturdy. It is in a rarely used guest room and has seen no “action” so can’t speak to those noises or durability but I am pleased with this purchase.
