   This CXVX Queen Bed Frame came in tact except for a couple of minor unnoticeable dents and chips. However, there is a foam strip that came damaged and, due to the backside adhesion, was sticking to another piece that it shouldn’t have (picture). Assembly issues aside (see details below), the bedframe is almost as expected. The drawers aren’t on a track, so they can block each other if you don’t take the time to push them flat against the frame (video). Additionally, the drawers are just under 27 inches in length, but the front panels are 40 inches long and run the length of the bed. This means 1) the drawers are not nearly as big as you’d expect, and 2) that you can’t access the drawer closest to the headboard it you have a night stand next to the bed. On the Bedframes.shop site, the first image for this bed frame shows the bed between two night stands and the drawers pulled out. This is not possible, and the photo must be manipulated or the headboard is detached from the frame. We’ve been using it about 3 weeks and haven’t run into new problems. It does what it’s supposed to: Holds the mattress, doesn’t slide around, and has a headboard that you can lean against. The product measurements are listed accurately. I wouldn’t expect much from the drawers. Even though the pictures show the dimensions of the drawers, it’s just not obvious how little they hold. One could fit undergarments or an extra set of sheets. I wouldn’t even expect a folded blanket to fit into one. The outlet ports are too close together to be able to plug in two things (picture). The frame has very little clearance. I guess I didn’t really consider how low to floor I was going to be when the dimensions said 8.76″. ASSEMBLY ISSUES: Instructions are clear except for one step where the two provided pictures are contradictory. On one occasion two bolt holes were misaligned. We had to loosen all of our attachment points (even though we never tightened them entirely) to be able to widen the frame pieces enough to wedge in what we needed to wedge in. On another occasion of the holes must have not been deep enough to accept the bolt. We could get it started every time, but moved from hand tightening to using the power drill, and eventually to using the impact wrench to force this bolt into the hole. We could smell melting metal when we switched to the impact wrench. The bolt never quite went all the way, but it won’t come back out either. It’s in enough to be functional. Poor quality bolts. They strip very easily. When installing the outlet piece: there are two little screws that have to drill into the particle board. The existing holes aren’t deep enough, but we didn’t have a drill bit as tiny as the screw shafts to make them deeper. The screws are pointy and supposed to be able to drill in, but again we had to rely on an impact wrench to force them down and flush. One of the support poles was simply too short (picture). I notice that another reviewer had the exact same issue.

   Great bed, solid, little shorter than I thought- as the instructions say, keep things loose while putting together, then go tighten everything up. Easy to do. The only issue I had was the LED lighting- the remote buttons were upside down and ALSO the internal board is completely the wrong way for how the rf eye is situated & the backing tape is not sticky at all…..so pretty much worthless for just the LED light portion.

   It looks very good but the assembly so hard and the instructions are not clear at all. You really have to keep the screws loose until you finalize the project otherwise it will cause you a lot of trouble. That being said, again, instructions are very unclear which makes the installation process not easy at all. On the other hand it looks good and its sturdy. Im giving 3 stars because of the installation.

    I found this set very nice. Design was appealing and the under bed metal wire drawers are of a moderate size across just not very deep. The assembly was not too complicated. The only major complaint I’d have is that it is rather low. It promotes not needing a box spring and you don’t. However, this is a low frame and not having a box spring help exaggerate this more. I do like the metal grid cross members (assuming this is the new standard). I would buy this again and I do recommend it for a youth, teen, or young adult. And I’d go with adding a box spring.

    This bed frame was not difficult to set up. The only thing I recommend is using common sense. The instructions are pretty vague so when putting in the slats loosen the screws on the number 4 at the end of the bed and the slats slide right in. Otherwise it may seem that they don’t fit due to being too long. My son and husband set it up in about an hour. Also, the headboard piece may not alignment woth the screw holes. We used basic common sense and screwed 2 screws in the bottom corners and two at the top more centralized and it was perfect. Hope that helps.

    The bed is fine, a little on the short side compared to our previous bed. Putting it together was easy enough, we ended up having to trash the light strip as it kept falling off but not a big deal to us. Our biggest problem is that one of the legs was partially broken. And while the leg is holding up fine for the time being, we are worried about how long it’ll last now.
