   I needed a frame for our guest bedroom almost immediately and after looking all day, this was the most inexpensive frame that could get to me before my guests arrived. It was packaged great, everything was clearly labeled and they provide extra hardware. Set up was almost entirely done by myself alone. The instructions were easy to follow. However the final step (setting up the bars for the canopy) you will need at least one extra person as the bars need to be held in place on both sides. I used 2 just to make it very easy. Overall setup took me just under 2 hours. And it’s amazing, aesthetically pleasing and very sturdy. My grandparents slept on it and even wrestled with my toddlers multiple times. I’m incredibly happy that I went with this frame. The long stickers aren’t able to be pulled off (as mentioned in other reviews) but I purchased some goo gone and was able to take them off that way. Another key is there is a removable paper in the instructions page 2 I believe that mentions 2 types of washers for the base. Do not skip this step. It increases the overall integrity of the frame. If you’re considering this frame, 100% buy it. I can’t believe I paid less than $200 for it.

   I’m not sure how others had such challenges assembling this bed but I found the instructions to be very straight forward and easy to follow. The instructions clearly labeled each part and the parts were clearly labeled in the packaging to distinguish them. I built this mostly by myself in about 45 min. I did need an extra set of hands for screwing in the top bars. We purchased this bed in black and all of the screws/washers were black to match which was nice. They blend in perfectly with the frame. This bed will be used by a 9 year old so the weight limit will likely not be a factor for us, however, I have laid on it myself with my two medium/large sized dogs who combined equal an adult’s weight and it felt perfectly sturdy to me. Overall, very impressed with the quality for the price. Would definitely buy again.

   I recently decided to sell this bed frame after two years of having it. I had a super thick mattress that barely fit in the frame so that was always difficult to put the sheets on and remove them. I would definitely recommend a thin mattress. It held up really well this entire time but got gradually louder and to the point where it would squeak when I would toss at night. I really do think this would be best for a super light mattress and a smaller person.

   I think it’s perfect for what I wanted! It was pretty easy to assemble with the help of my brother. (It’s best if two people put it together) The frame itself is pretty sturdy and the color is nice. The only down side is that they put warning stickers on some of the pieces I can’t Pell off easily.

   Love this bed frame! It fits a standard king bed perfectly. I like sleeping higher, so I have an 8 inch box spring + 14 inch mattress. For assembly, it was pretty easy to do alone. The only part that technically requires 2 people is the very last part, which is putting on the bars at the top. It wasn’t the easiest to do alone, but it’s doable. The only negative comment about this is the stickers on the bars at the top. They don’t come off easily, and are on all 4 bars. Just kinda annoying and inconvenient. Also note: this bed does not move easily once the mattress is on it. If you try to push on it without help, IT WILL BEND THE BED FRAME. Move it before placing the mattress on it, or have help to move it after.

   Purchased this bed in October 2020. It was great when I first set it up. I moved roughly a month after set up and kept all of my instructions and screws and such. When I got to my next home I set it up the exact same way except no box spring because it’s a platform bed and I shouldn’t need one right? Wrong! To say that I feel everything through the mattress is an understatement. Not to mention, without the box spring, the plastic pieces that kept the bed rails from falling off or distorting at the ends keep falling off. Now I have a very uncomfortable bed. You can’t tell it’s uncomfortable until you either sit or lay on it and hear the plastic pins fall out and then the rods shift. It’s been a year and this bed is literally falling apart. If you plan on moving, do not get this bed. It is H E double hockey sticks to put back together and becomes less durable after moving it. I wasn’t missing any pieces and yet, this bed is straight trash now. I’ve been having major issues with it since April 2021 so I basically got 7 months of use of of the thing where it was decent but honestly there were only 3 months of use out of the bed where it was perfect. Your takeaways: 1. If you plan on moving ANYTIME while having this bed, just skip it and get another. 2. Get a box spring and KEEP IT for use with this bed! You have been warned!!! 3. You’re gonna need new plastic pins because though they send plenty to complete the bed, they NEVER STAY IN! 4. And finally, just buy something else if you need a more durable bed for longer term. You truly get what you pay for here! Happy shopping!

   I bought this bed for my partner and I. Together, we may weigh about 450. Puting it together was frustrating even for the two of us who have both worked in mechanics shops. No matter what we did, bolts kept stripping. We wrongfully figured that perhaps it was a built in feature to keep people from over tightening. Upon climbing in, I felt a bar bend under me. I hopped back out and saw that it was one of the main support bars. Frustrated, I forced myself to forget about it, turned to the foot of the bed, and went to sleep. I awoke in the morning immensely uncomfortable, my fiancee and I had crashed into the middle and my hips were fallen unnaturally low. I contacted customer service and found that they replace parts, cool! So I flipped up the matress and found not one, but FOUR major support bars bent, some at nearly touching the floor. Everything else had bent and collapsed around the support. One night and the bed was completely mangled. Contacted customer support again, they told me a couple of times they could replace parts but couldn’t do anything else. Perhaps if a single part was the problem that would have been acceptable, but as it stands they just made a frustrating situation worse by not being willing to talk (seriously, when I called they asked for my email address then ended the call, the rest was handled through email) Honestly, I have never been so immensely disappointed by a product. The pictures don’t do the damage justice, the two vertacle bars us the middle we’re bent at least 3-4 inches out of place, the head and foot connecting horizontal ones were also drastically bent, the all the support slats curved like a giant rib cage.

   I put this frame together by myself. It wasn’t that hard. I had just got off work. Wanted to whip it together real fast so I could plop my bed down, shower, and go to sleep. Looord, the stickers on these polls were extremely annoying. I could have waited to get some goo remover but I had already got the frame 95% put together and wanted to just shower and sleep! These stickers were for the canopy of the frame and no matter which way I put them you could still see them. Love the bed frame, but be aware, you will have to deal with these warning stickers!!

    After reading all the negative reviews for this canopy bed re: stickers hard to remove, squeaking and creaking and falling apart, it was not enough to determine me, I knew it would look beautiful in my space, so I still purchased this gorgeous canopy bed. I have always wanted a bed like this all my life. I’m 66 years old and put this frame together by myself. It was straight forward and uncomplicated, instructions and coding were very well explained and easy to follow. Stickers are not hard to remove at all, there is no residue left, you just need a bit of patience, good nails and they come off easily as a whole. Just remove them before construction, for obvious reasons. All in all, I love this bedframe and it completed the whole look of my bedroom makeover. Thank you Novogratz.

    I wanted to give four stars for the assembly but couldn’t because this bedframe is so beautiful. It’s exactly what I wanted! The color is a nice deep gold (look at the sunny part of my picture), will match anything, and the frame is surprisingly sturdy. The headboard and footboard are very pretty. Nicely packaged and looks more daunting than it is, but get a friend for the assembly; it’s surprisingly straightforward but not easy to do alone since it’s a big frame. A couple things were annoying about the assembly so just a heads up: first, all of the screws are bright chrome, which stands out against the gold bedframe. Second, the longer canopy bars were impossible to connect with the screws given; I actually broke a screwdriver trying to muscle it. I got size 4 screws at Ace and voila (the ones provided were size 6). Finally, it took me longer to get the darn stickers off of each piece of the bedframe than it did to put the thing together! They were practically fused on there. I must have used half a bottle of goo-gone on one of the big ones. Anyway, these are nitpicky and overall I am so happy with my shiny new bedframe, can’t wait to get drapes for it 🙂

    I’ve always wanted a canopy bed. However, many of them are expensive so I I’ve found this one and decided to give it a shot, plus I needed to upgrade to a king size anyway. For the price it’s great! Only cons are that it’s noisy when you move around and I don’t like the stickers on the bars at the top. The stickers are extremely hard to get off without leaving a mark. Other than that, it’s great and I recommend especially for the price!

    I was definitely heavily influenced on social media to buy this bed. It’s advertised as a “no squeak” canopy bed…. But it’s so loud and annoying 😅 it’s definitely beautiful though and I want to find a more sturdy option with the same look. Also, they put warning stickers on every pole on the top and they are so hard to get off. I know it’s a CYA tactic but it looks tacky🫠 Anyways, Would recommend if you don’t move a lot 😂

    I like that the only tool you needed was a Phillips head screw driver (I don’t have tools). I also love how easy it was to assemble and how supportive my bed feels. However the description says gold and this is a brown color. It is made of metal, but it is not shiny or bright in any way. I included a natural lighting picture. I am disappointed in the color but the bed itself is really good for the price !

    The only downside to this, is that we received it with zero instructions. Thankfully, with a little common sense, it wasn’t hard to put together by simply looking at the photo on this listing. I have a purple mattress which is insanely heavy and takes two very strong people to lift/move, and two box springs underneath (king size), and after sleeping on it last night it seems durable. I would definitely recommend not purchasing for wood floors, or if you do, getting a giant rug or some form of non-sliding caps to go under the legs. The frame itself (under the mattress) seems to have more support then some of the thousands of dollars frames I have had before. The metal bars at the top, however, are extremely flimsy so you couldn’t hang anything more than draping curtains or things that are extremely light weight. That aspect is definitely just for show. It’s adorable for a simplistic, yet fun bed frame, and extremely fair priced.

    I’ve been looking at this bed for months. I really like the clean lines and the bright gold tone- a change for my aesthetic. Finally it was available again ( I mean, I stalked this bed on all the sites- even the manufacturers) here on Bedframes.shop. The color is not gold-said gold on the box though. The box arrived damaged, but then.. it is full of metal and freaking heavy. Packed really well inside and not one piece was damaged. All pieces there, although it took me some time to figure out some are double packaged together. Like EF in one bag, that kind of thing. So anyway, it takes me until I’m actually piecing it together to see it’s not gold it’s bronze, almost brown. I’m pretty disappointed in that. I saw someone called it a deep gold color. Honey, that’s not a color. Anyway, I have zero interest in packing metal poles back up in damaged boxes and also what a PITA so I sucked it up and kept it. If you have trouble assembling.. and maybe I”m smarter than most but there was only one part I was absolutely stuck.. google it. THere’s a youTube video showing what to do with the little gray tabs for the platform portion. All in and all I am ok with my purchase and will use it for another year before I stick it on FB Marketplace for $50. WORD TO THE WISE: probably keep the little tightening wrench in your nightstand drawer… because it’s metal and shakes loose. Photo added to compare color to gold. Would love an explanation why I received not-gold.

    Don’t get this. It’s noisy and feels unstable, and you’ll be charged for returning it when you find out (if you can return it at all if the return time has passed). Just put the money you’d spend on this towards a higher quality frame – find one that doesn’t squeak etc.

    Generally like the way this bedframe looks which is why I bought it! Things I wish I had known before ordering: 1. The directions were very confusing- as someone who enjoys putting together furniture. There are numbers for the steps and numbers for the hardware that don’t correlate. 2. In order to get sheets to sit normally this bed needs a box spring underneath.

    This bed is so fun. It took my husband and I about an hour to put together. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I just have a couple complaint ( and thus the 4 star overall rating) was first, this bed comes with bright silver screws. And the screws show in several places. It is very noticeable and distracting. After some work, I did find an almost identical color of spray paint…. So if you are getting this bed, buy this paint, and spray all your screws beforehand…. I painted mine with a brush afterward, spraying before would have been much easier. Rustoleum metallics Champagne bronze. Another thing, tons of the pieces had big obnoxious stickers… they were a pain to remove, but I found “rolling” the sticker off was the most efffective. Overall, love how the bed completed this room, and would buy it again, just wish it don’t have those couple hassles.

    I purchased this for $170. It’s a good deal for a queen frame. If you are getting gold, DO NOT expect gold. It will be a bronzeish brown. It is still gorgeous but it’s just painted metal and it looks brownish. Only other complaint is it is not sturdy. If that’s a concern for you, buy bed frame stabilizers. I did and it works great. It’s not like you’re going to be hanging from the canopy bars so who cares?? For the price and looks this is 100% worth it. It’s easy to put together and also really cute I get so many compliments on it lol. However, If you value sturdiness over aesthetics just save up to buy a better bed frame

    Love everything about this frame, but would make 2 improvements, 1) add rubber feet. I am constantly having to push my bed back against the wall because it keeps sliding on my wood floors, 2) add felt to the joints to reduce the mildly annoying clanging noise that happens when getting in and out of the bed.

    Okay, so I was skeptical about buying this because of the difference points of views in the reviews. I ordered it and was hoping for the best. It came packaged well with no damages to the bed or box. Pretty self-explanatory to assemble, I put it together by myself and it took about 2 hours give or take. (I used a power drill haha) the look of the bed is exactly what I was going for, it’s beautiful. Sturdiness is like 8/10. I have a memory foam mattress so when my husband gets home from out of town, he will secure down a sheet of plywood so the foam mattress won’t go in between the bars on the bottom. Does not squeak or anything like that. Only thing that I just noticed was the stickers on the four top bars. Will have to scrape those off but not a big issue. Overall, I’m so glad I bought it and I love this bed! Beautiful iron bed!

    I love the way it looks, it’s quite sturdy for now but I have a feeling it won’t last very long. The big thing is I feel like my husband and I are gonna break it every time we turn over in the night. We are way under the 500lb limit, and we don’t let our pup on it now either, and it’s just so squeaky and moves a lot and scares me a bit because my little dog likes to sleep under the bed. Ahhh!     So I’m obsessed with this bed. I will say I already had a metal platform bed frame so I actually just assembled the pieces that went around the already existing metal platform frame so I did not use the part of this bed that most people were complaining about. I also believe it’s more sturdy this way as the bed is not actually attached to my existing bed frame which helps with the squeaks and creaks! It’s still very sturdy and was easy to assemble.     Pretty to look at and that’s about it.
    This bed is for sleeping only! Like take your melatonin and crawl in gingerly, don’t even roll over.
    One bang sesh and it looks like it was picked up in a hurricane and swirled around the farm and slammed back down in my bedroom. Basically if you’re attracted to guys who skip leg day, this bed is for you.
    Like a women, overall rating is 1 star for stability and 5 for stars for appearance. Can’t have it all I guess, it is not a unicorn.
    Perfect for long time married couples or nuns.

    The assembly was pretty great! The screws came in a bunch of little plastic containers that has paper glued to the back (think of your average razor pack) and they are all labeled with their corresponding number/letter with the instructions. I did it myself and it took me about 2-2.5 hours. What held me up was getting everything on top secured, I’m not 5’. The screws to hold up the top poles seemed like they didn’t fit, I included pictures. But the overall sturdiness of the bed itself is fine. It’s the posts that move with ease. I wasn’t expecting much, I knew I wasn’t paying $500 for a bed, so I think it’s a pretty great find.
