   Bed looks great, but since it is so light and the feet have no rubber or grip on them, they are simply rounded wood, it slides all over anytime we touch it. The single square support board with the 3 adjustable wood legs down the center that are meant to add support to the bed slats also move, tip, & twist when the bed moves, as they do have rubber ends, so that won’t last long before the slats break, so we will need to reinforce the frame with more boards under the mattress so we don’t fall thru. Needless to say, There will be no nookie on this thing til we can figure out something to hold it in place & keep it from collapsing under normal “hump day” activities 😬

   I’m so impressed with this bed. I read a lot of reviews on platform beds on Bedframes.shop so I was a little nervous about ordering this but I’m so glad I did. It is made so well and is so sturdy. The whole thing feels so solid. And I think it looks really nice! So happy with purchase!!

   This bed is great. In all honesty, I meant to order a different bed (similar, but with many more reviews), but I’m so glad I mistakenly ordered this one. It is sturdy, comfortable, and make noise when you get in and out of it. Plus, I love that there’s room underneath for shallow storage containers. The other reviewers are right in that it is quite heavy, but that’s a small price to pay for the sturdiness of the bed. All in all, a great deal!

   They would not pay for a return label after I expressed my dislike of the wood color. It does not match the color shown on the product’s Bedframes.shop page. I am a professional photographe and graphic designer. I know that Modway has control over the photography and adjustment of the photo’s color. They could make the coloring in the photograph match the color of the actual product if they wanted. This is just poor advertising. Very disappointed! A bed is not easy to move around. Returning it is not easy.

   I bought this because I liked how it looked pictured and that’s exactly how it looks once it was put together. It did take 2 people and few hours to put together. I was also missing some washers (8) from the packaging and had to run to the hardware store for more. Since it would have taken longer to receive/replace then getting them myself was easier. I only had it for a week but so far no issues or problems.

   Update: less than a year later, this bed is being donated. One leg broke. My bed kept swaying one way and I couldn’t tell why until I noticed it looked like it was doing the splits! One leg literally pointed outward and the screw was all bent. I am a single woman, not even two people sleeping on the bed and it broke!!? Really ridiculous. Have been using it for a month or two with no legs but it was not the look I wanted so donating it now. Such a disappointment.

   Really beautiful bed frame. It is very heavy and very sturdy. The assembly instructions said it would take 40 mins to assemble and it took my sister and I 3.5 hours. Such a headache. And the manual had no writing just vague pictures, so that wasn’t helpful. Also my queen mattress seemed a little too small for the frame.. there was about 2-3 inches on each side (top and bottom too) where you can see the wooden planks. Weird… if I tuck my blankets in under the mattress it’s harder to see but I feel it when my legs dangle off the bed. I’m scared I’ll hit my shin on there one of these days. May not be an issue if you have a super plush mattress but not sure. Otherwise I’m happy with it and it give my room a very mid century modern look.
