Style of this bed is exactly what I was looking for and I love it. However, after assembling the bed and sleeping on it the first night the middle support leg buckled. I had this bed on my hardwood floors which I think didn’t help. The legs are very slim and when I put weight on the bed it would slide around on my floor. I tried re-screwing the legs in but at that point the bolt the screw goes into had pulled out of the wood so I was out of luck. I slept on it for about 4 months with no middle support legs and it was fine, but I started feeling like I was going to fall through. I loved the style of the bed and ended up putting some yoga blocks under in replacement of the middle support legs.

I’m glad I was able to put it together alone with just a screwdriver and an Allen wrench. As a single female that was important to me in selecting this product (thanks to all those who attested previously). However, it did take me quite a bit longer than 45 min – I’d say 2 hours? Maybe I went slowly in order not to make any mistakes. Instructions were clear and most everything worked pretty well. It is definitely harder alone. Getting the headboard at the height you want it and setting the surrounding frame up alone is a bit of a challenge but after a couple of tries, it worked. It’s made of soft white pine, which makes getting the screws in easier, but then, in the long run, it’s not what you’d call an heirloom piece. I suspect the slats will break over time because they are thin and soft. If you don’t give it harsh treatment, I suspect it will give you some years of worry-free service. It looks good and I’ve slept on it for 3 nights with no squeaks or other frustrations. I’m happy enough for the money I paid. My plan is this serves as a lightweight easy to take apart option when I move from this apartment to a more permanent housing arrangement.

I love the style of the bedframe. The outer frame is well built and sturdy. The directions that came with the bed are clear and all assembly items were present. No damage to packaging or item. It comes with four support legs, however, for the middle underside of the bed and these have broken within the first week of use. This is disappointing as replacement legs run about $20 a leg or $87 for a support set and without them, the slats risk damage. You get what you pay for a I guess. Otherwise, I love the bed and will try to find some other remedy to make it useful and use-able.

Note: an instruction and legs are placed inside of a bed head pocket but the instruction is not very clear so make sure fully understand a construction before assembling.
