   This mattress platform frame is a poor design. The space for a standard king size mattress is way too tight. It is very difficult to put sheets on the mattress. The edges of the wood frame are sharp. I have cut my hand putting on sheets. I have cut my let moving around the end of the frame. This mattress frame is going to the fire pit.

   Unboxing: 5/5 The unboxing for this bed was standard but great, it came in a long cardboard box with each wood piece containing plastic within the fragile parts, ensure a proper fitment upon assembly. Looks: 5/5 The bed looks great, the wood is very natural looking, the cross-sectional ends are very nice, and it’s a very comfortable seeming bed. Quality / Durability: 5/5 The quality is great. The wood is hefty, the bed does not budge when sleeping on it, and the wood under the mattress is pretty close to each other and very strong. The connections between wood is tight fitting and geometric, with no screws to strip the wood. Function: 4/5 Here’s the big fault: the ends are razor-sharp. I took a few pictures to show the sharp ends, which are on the corners of the bed, and lining the bottom wood. After having the bed for a few months, I’ve scratched myself 4 times, twice on the bottom when getting in bed, and twice on the corners when passing by. This probably limits the target audience, because it could be unsafe for babies and possibly the elderly if they fall. Otherwise, the bed is very hefty and works well for anyone who wants a strong wooden bed. Value (for the listed price): 5/5 Overall: 4.5/5

   I liked the materials and simple assembly, and price for what you get. However, I dislike that it doesn’t come with any hardwood floor protection padding for the front/end boards… had to purchase felt pads and cut them into 1 inch width strips, you’ll need 160 inches. Also, I haven’t done it yet, but I will take other people’s advice and sand down the corners (hope it doesn’t ruin the aesthetics) – because yes, it’s definitely too sharp and potentially dangerous.

   This bed frame is great. It’s super easy to put together. No need for tools because everything just slides into each other. You just have to slide the base into precut notches, and then the slats just unroll and fit into place. You may need two people when putting together the first couple of frame pieces. I’ve been using the frame for almost a month now and one have one single complaint… it’s sharp! The edges of the wood are super sharp. I guess that means they were cut well, but within the first 2 weeks my girlfriend and I have cut ourselves up on the frame. My gf lifted her foot while sitting on the bed and the back of her heel scraped along the edge. It scraped her skin right off! Also, there are small wood bits from the edge of the frame that stick out where they fit into the notches. Those are sharp two! I’ve accidently scraped my calf along it a few times. I have about 4 bloody slashes from this thing! Seriously, buy some sand paper. I highly recommend this frame. It’s great, but you really should sand down the edges to make them blunt.

   Came lightly damaged but I was able to put that towards the wall and wasn’t worth trying to send back. Similar experience on nearly every piece of furniture I’ve gotten from Bedframes.shop. Nice looking. Doesn’t creak like metal frames. Easy to assemble but the corners will destroy your shins.

   Solid frame made from plywood that doesn’t actually look like plywood. The construction method works well and assembly is easy. It’s a fair deal as it would cost about the same or more to make it yourself. I would buy again probably. Watch out for the corners though, they are sharp angles that hurt is you snag a toe or bang your shin. Some corner protection tape or bumpers would fix that. Looks nice and is very stable. Most of it cannot be seen when the bed is made. I made my own headboard for mine because my pillows wouldn’t stay on the bed. You could buy a headboard to use with it. There is not a way to attach one however so you would need a free standing or wall mounted one. I just screwed some screws through the padded plywood headboard I made right into the frame board. Only wood frame that’s worth buying for the price. I paid for this my self and this is an honest review. I received nothing for reviewing it.

   I needed an affordable frame for my king sized bed after my miserable witch of an ex wife left with a ton of household stuff. The old frame was on its last legs (probably why she left it), certainly not from amorous wear and tear, and I needed a lower bed anyway. I moved my desk into my bedroom and the old frame was visible in Zoom meetings. This was priced right and a height that would work because it didn’t require a box spring. Pro tip: the box is heavy and if your bed is up a flight of stairs, open the box and bring the parts up separately. It took me maybe 15 minutes to assemble it. NO TOOLS WERE NEEDED and it clicked together perfectly. Now when I get into my bed I am not reminded of the she devil and sleep satisfied that I made a good purchase. Nowhere to go but up from here.

   This is a beautiful bed frame made of great quality woods. It is much nicer than what I was expecting and I was super impressed! It came very securely packaged so that nothing was scratched. I was able to put it together with my son in less than 2 minutes and no screws were required. The frame fits together like Lincoln logs. The walnut finish is gorgeous, no box spring is required, and the slats are amazing. The slats have a material going up the length of them so that they are perfectly aligned with your bed. The slats do not shift, there is no squeaking of the bed frame, the base itself can handle over 800 pounds and can fit any Queen mattress. I really enjoyed ditching my box spring! I highly recommend.
