Pic description: Large dent/crack in side of panel. We taped it on the inside with duct tape to reinforce it. So, I really had mediocre hopes going into this purchase because of other reviews. That being said my expectations were met. It’s okay not great. Definitely mediocre. Yes it has a lot of storage underneath and that’s fantastic HOWEVER if you plan on getting under it frequently/daily know there’s some annoyances we have discovered. It isn’t square (it wiggles side to side) so when you lift up the mattress and go to lower it, it can catch on the bolts used to hold the corner bracket/support in place. Or get caught up on the side and you’ll have to shimmy it to get it back in place. If you don’t plan on using it frequently (i.e seasonal items) then it’s a great deal. As long as you don’t have any damage like we did. Another annoyance is that we had to re-drill some of the holes to align them after we shimmy’d it to get it to close. All that to say it holds our couple hundred pound Queen Tempurpedic mattress just fine and we can open and close without issue. You absolutely get what you pay for. It’s a quiet frame so no noise when getting on or off the bed. Or when our kids try jumping on it. All in all I’d begrudgingly buy it again if there weren’t any others available.

It was easy for me to put it together, but then again I build a lot of things. The instructions say, 2 people need to do the job but I did it alone. I’m a 5’3” woman. The bed works great! My mattress is a 10 inch deep, king size, memory foam mattress. It’s a heavy one, but I can still lift it all the way up and it stays till you push it down. The hydraulics work great!

My teen son has a very small room, and this bedframe created so much extra space! Now the floor is clear of clutter. It was fairly simple to put together, took the two of us a little over an hour. We experienced a similar issue to other reviews, we couldn’t get the bed in the down position after installing the pumps. We had to take them back off, add the mattress, then lift and put the pumps back on. After that, it went down with no problems, just needed the extra weight. It stays in the up position with no problems, and doesn’t make any noise. The side panels are kind of cheap appearing and feeling, but it overall seems very sturdy. Great buy, highly recommend!

This bed has good directions and extra parts. The packaging is great because the styrofoam packing is sealed with plastic so it doesn’t break and go all over the place. It takes a couple of hours to put together but it has good directions and goes together easy. It functions great! Buy it!

It was easy to assemble until it came to the Hydraulics. We followed the instructions but we couldn’t get the frame to go down after we installed them on both sides. We took them off, and thought it would be ok, but the mattress was super heavy to lift. My husband found a YouTube video and saved the day. We learned that you have to have the mattress installed for the hydraulics to work properly. So we reinstalled them and gave a solid push down for them to work. I was seriously considering returning the unit until we gave it one last Batman effort and then it worked. High fives all around.

Don’t expect it it to be in perfect condition upon arrival. There will most likely be some flaws like gouges in the coating of the metal or a pre-assembled screw put in crooked messing up the wood/plastic (see picture), or the wood not being centered. Not huge things, just annoying but definitely not a deal breaker. Overall it looks nice and I’d say it’s worth the price. To me the assembly was easy. I did it at a leasury pace by myself and had it together in less than 1.5hrs. To the other ladies or not super muscular guys, the box is a bit heavy (around 100lbs) and long/awkward so you might grab someone to help you get it in the house or take it in piece by piece. In addition to the mattress we also have what I refer to as a mattress platform, it takes the place of a box spring but doesn’t have springs (I added a picture for reference) so it’s much lighter, probably between 10-20lbs. I’m not sure if it’s due to the weight of the mattress being higher but it is super hard to lift the bed up, but *IF* you have the bed 5-6in from wall, once it’s up all the way it stays up so I’d say the quality seems pretty good, if you have the frame against the wall it will still go up all the way but it will NOT stay up by itself, the extra hight causes the mattress to hit the wall putting pressure on it, so get a prop.

It’s great for someone who is single or for kids/young adults. But this is not good for a couple who are “active”. The 2 legs in the middle don’t touch the floor so when you’re moving around on it to hard they bend, and now they are useless. It’s beautiful, but not sturdy for a sexually active couple.

It was very easy to assemble lots of space underneath. The bed isn’t stuck, put the thing on that is used to pull it up and down and just pull down on it, it will close. It uses the weight of the matress to pretty much function correctly. And works very very well. I have a very heavy 12″ cooling gel matress and it holds it up perfectly.
