I purchased this bed for my son as it had the trundle for sleepovers with siblings/friends. After putting it together, I was happy with how easily it was to assemble and how sturdy it feels. It is pretty solid but not so heavy that it’s extremely difficult to move or put together. We ordered the Natural color and it looks very nice in the room it’s in. The instructions for assembly were pretty easy to follow and it overall took 1.5-2 hours to put together with a power drill. The trundle bed moves in and out from under the main bed easily with the installed wheels. I would recommend this bed frame for its overall quality, ease of assembly, and style.

We purchased this bed for our son since he was ready to upgrade from his crib but wanted something safe for him to crawl in and out of and not fall off and get hurt. We used an 8 inch mattress and it barely goes to the bottom of the rail. There is also so room at the end of the mattress while in the frame so we used a braided bumper to block it and also prevent him from sticking his hands or feet in between the rail. You can install the rail on either side of the bed frame. It is extremely sturdy and made of wood. I cannot get over how adorable the house frame looks – it was well worth the wait and a great value for the cost.

This bed is a great option for crib to bed transition. Low to the ground so that they can’t hurt themselves and the rails contain them while they sleep. It was easy to put together, I did it myself in about an hour. Labeled well and instructions were easy to follow. Seems like it is sturdy and safe. I will say a thicker mattress will not fit here well. The mattress we have is 6” and I feel it perfect for it because the rails are kind of short. I wouldn’t go much higher than 8” or so if you are looking to keep a child from rolling off. The slat holes are a good distance apart as well. Not to mention it is super cute!

I cringe at other comments about assembly, but if you’re a little handy and have ever made any other furniture, it’s easy to do. I think these instructions are the best I’ve ever seen. We counted all the parts, and it took about 2.5 hours to assemble. The instructions were clear. This is a very solid bed and I am very happy with the quality of this elevated bed. I was very happy to buy it. It must be worth it.
