   So let me first by saying that this is my first platform non-box spring bed. When purchasing this bed, I was a little skeptical because I am plus size and I’ve had had bad experiences with the bed with wooden slats when the bed arrived. It came today early, and I immediately put the bed together. The bed is very sturdy and heavy, and when placing my memory foam firm mattress on top, it not only held the weight of the mattress, but it holds the weight of myself. It does not squeak or move, which was my two biggest concerns with this bed . This bed is a must have.

    I like this Queen size bed frame, putting it together wasn’t hard, it just took a little bit of time, only because I have back issues. The parts were all there and all the holes lined up (I mention this because I read stories of some other beds on other platforms saying these things weren’t good).
    The bed is nice and strong. No issues with that. One little issue was the brass left fingerprints, but I haven’t tried wiping or using anything to clean that yet, it may not end up being an issue. Idk. Tho it’s minor. So it gave it 4⭐️’s

    To build this bed was a labor of love (and war). It did take me some time to finish because I wanted to do it right. The instructions were straightforward enough, but in some places it left me having to really analyze the pictures. Nonetheless, I absolutely loved it in the end. The headboard is the centerpiece of the entire bed (for me). It’s velvety soft and smooth. I fell in love with this bed because of the headboard, and I’m not disappointed by it. Love the height. I also like the stability of the bed. You have the wooden slats, but underneath the slats you have the support of two sturdy metal bars that you install horizontally and vertically. So the structure of the bed is pretty stable. I have no complaints about this bed.

    I really wanted a tall bed frame for my room and found this gorgeous frame. I was a little hesitant to buy it because it didn’t have many reviews, but the reviews that were there was really good so i bought it anyway. This frame was originally $479 but I got it on sale for $270 so that was awesome for starters. My cousin helped me and it took about 1hr-1:30hrs to complete. Some of the screws were too short for the holes but it came with extra screws and the longer ones worked just fine. It’s very sturdy and the velvet material was a selling point for me too. I’m pretty short (5’3) so the height was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend!

    I love the bed however upon opening the box we realized that there was a scratch in the fabric of the headboard. We assembled it still thinking it was just an imprint left from being in the box but after trying to smooth the fabric out we realized that it was infact a deep enough scratch to the fabric that we wouldn’t be able to fix.

    This queen bed was easy to assemble, as 1 person it took me about 1.5 hours to setup. This velvet is jet black and very beautiful and it seems sturdy enough too. The finish on the metal is polished and not painted which is great. I actually really love this bed.

    I bought this bed during prime day (reg $400 and got it for $300). The bed is very sturdy and the gold does not look cheap. The details are beautiful and the color is very rich. I am a plus size girlie and the bed is very supportive and does not squeak (baby making approved ☺️) . I ordered the king size frame and I used a 12in box spring and a 14 in mattress and the headboard is still very tall. It took me about 1-1 1/2 hours to put it together by myself.     I got the king size. It’s a little bit low for my liking so eventually I’ll get a box spring because I love high beds but overall I love it.
