   This is a very sturdy, no bones about it metal frame twin loft. I am on the heavier side and I immediately got pool noodles to protect my feet from the ladder. My twin mattress I got fits perfectly on top with a bit of wiggle room. The height is perfect for putting my enormous desk under. I have an additional height adjustment on my desk just for my monitors and there is plenty of room for that as well. I got an Ikea metal shelving unit and it fits perfectly next to the bed so i can use the top of it as a table. I can’t believe i didnt make this purchase when I first moved in. The key to making everything fit together and secure is to make sure you do not tighten the screws all the way while you are putting the frame together so you can adjust everything at the end. I dont have any squeeking or major swaying. Delivery by Bedframes.shop was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget just looking for a bit more space in their room.

   Thought I was losing my mind for a sec. The holes on the standing poles were misaligned therefore I couldn’t align them with the appropriate connecting pieces. Called the company customer service to request those misaligned poles and they have to first review the claim and then send out the parts within 5-7 business days after reviewing and accepting the claim. My son wanted to sleep in his bunk bed already. Incredibly disappointed!!!

    Loveeeeee this bed. Very glad I went with this model over the shorter one. My son is 7 and although he shares a room with his brother they both now feel like they have their own space. I added a 32 inch desk underneath and it fit perfectly. As a single mom I was able to put it together myself in a few hours I just recommend you DO NOT tighten everything fully until the end to avoid any issues. The best was a little wobbly at first but I bolted the bed to the wall and now it’s perfect. I am so happy with my purchase.

    Im not a fan of metal bar bunk beds because they’re usually loud and squeaky but i took a chance with this one because it was only a loft and it’s honestly perfect! It doesn’t squeaky, not shaky, and it was super easy to build! (it comes with the allen wrench but we used a power drill allen wrench to make sure it was super secure and tight) Originally was going to have my bed come out the loft in an L shape but surprisingly there was enough space for my Full size mattress and box spring to fit with plenty of head space. I am 5’3 & 167lb for reference. I was able to climb on top and feel like it can truly support the weight. my sister got on top as well for a combined of 220lbs and it was still holding sturdy no shaking nothing! My sister still has plenty of headspace at the top as well! Overall a really really good buy!

    Using nothing but the included tools, assembly was rather slow & took some time; however, the product is very durable (even for my heavier college self)! Unlike other loft-beds in its category, this model actually leaves room for user customization of the area underneath (where others have built in tables/shelves, etc). Excellent product!

    The bed wasn’t too hard to assemble, just don’t tighten everything until it’s all together, the only issues I had were, the box had previously been opened up and retaped. Inside were two shelves that weren’t part of the bed I ordered and one of the main tubes had 2 dents in it despite the box being undamaged, so I have concerns about the structural integrity of a bent main frame leg. I put black foam pool noodles around the legs where they tend to hit the wall when it wobbles.

    Assembled in an hour and a half. Simple set up, you do need an extra person or kid during a few parts to put together. Sturdy and no sqeaks. Leather stairs are a little bit narrow, we will put on a pool noodle to make it more comfortable . Definitely worth the money. I will be getting more for the other kids .

    This was totally a snap to put together (literally there are connectors between the slats that snap in). Me and my two kids (5 yo and 8 yo) put it together in about 2 hours. It probably would have been less without them, but they loved to help, and was great at holding up the parts while I lined things up. We had two twin beds already which were on just on simple frames, and we wanted to get another bed into their small room so that guests could sleep over. I was thinking of getting this and having it fit the current bed right into the space underneath. The measurements looked like it should work out just fine, and yes, it fit in nice and snug, so now we have bunk beds, but with the possibility of becoming a desk area underneath when they are older. Two cons (or at least things to consider): * Be careful not to mix up the sides for the bars or anything. Everything has it’s place and if you do it in the wrong place you will have some unscrewing and rescrewing to do. * The ladder is murder on the feet of adults. Kids are lighter and stepping on a round bar is a little difficult but they manage. Also, my daughter fell when she was climbing it the second day, so they have to be focused when climbing. If your kids are accident prone, you might want to reconsider as this ladder requires a bit of focus.

    Finally I received a bed from a company that cares about its customers. I set this bed up myself took about 3-4 hours tops. Very steady, doesn’t squeak, came with no scratches or broken pieces. Loft beds are very expensive and are very hard to find at a decent price with great quality. It’s not the exact style that I wanted but my son loves it and so do I. Like all metal stairs of course it’s not cushion so just buy some but my son doesn’t complain. Thank you so much!

    Wasn’t too bad to put it together. Too about an hour to assemble. Went together easy and all the holes lined up perfectly. You can’t really use power tools to put it together as the tolerances don’t allow for the right angles unless you were to use a swivel. Quality seems decent for the price. Once it’s all assembled it feels sturdy. Make sure to tighten it well. It’s pretty hard to strip it out if you’re tightening it because it will start to bend the metal before it starts to strip out. I had no problems at all and didn’t have any of the bolts stripped out. if you have any problems with stability you can always go to the hardware store and get some pipe strap fastener brackets that are used for pipes to secure them to walls and doing so will prevent it from moving at all and will hold it nice and tight against the wall. Make sure you align it with a stud so it doesn’t pull out of the wall. if you can’t hit a stud then you can always get a piece of 1X4 board and screw it to the studs in your wall and then attach the fastener to it but place it up near the top of the bunk so the bed hides it. That’s just a suggestion if you’re too worried about lack of sturdiness but seems pretty sturdy to me. When I purchased it cost around $150 after taxes.

    Instructions were very clear and assembled myself in a hour. The package was heavy So 2 people might be needed. Only thing I would change is possibly having cushions included for the ladder as it is uncomfortable on the feet while climbing but it’s a simple fix and a couple pool noodles will do the trick.

    The bed is heavy and takes a while to set up but is worth it. We have the bed on top and underneath is an ikea desk, so it’s a great little nook. We already had the desk so putting the bed over it didn’t take up much more space in our room since we built up instead of out. As with many heavy items there was some damage in shipping so be sure to inspect it carefully. I would definitely purchase this again. As many other people have noted, the rungs on the ladder are way too narrow and hurt anyone’s feet when you climb it. Some dollar store pool noodles fixed that for us, see the pic. You’ll need a 6″ or less mattress for the guard rails to be useful. My kids love it and made the top bunk a fort.

    Great bed for a kid or skinny adult. For more moderately fluffy and fun sized such as myself, or more I would not suggest it. I bought this for my 9 yr old and he loves it. I did what others suggested and took pool noodles and cut them up. However you might want to try pipe insulation instead as the pool noodles are inner cut too big as well as being too thick so no matter how tight you get the zip ties around them, it’s not going to grip the bar, making it spin if you move wrong. However that hasn’t been an issue with my kid at all but may be for some. I got a cheap rgb led strip and put behind it and wow it looks cool. Definitely better than the $3500 loft mansions they sell to people at rooms to go kids. Yeah of course wood is going to be better, but considering it’s for a kid so they are going to use it eh.. maybe until they are 15 max? And if you have to break the thing down to move that’s an extra back ache. That might be brilliant but I like this better. It does the job for cheap, looks cool, gives a kid the same happiness, and at the end of the day isn’t bad or hard to move… Now with that being said the initial uhh.. box your gonna either need a second person to move it, or your going to have to take it out in pieces and leave the box where it is till you get about half of it out the box. What I ended up doing is using a rug under it to move it through the house to his room. It does wobble a little but not crazy and it’s easy enough to remedy with some cheap shelving and screws. Just take one of those cheap a la carte shelving pieces from Home Depot or Lowe’s, cut them into triangles, use a bit to drill through the metal tubing and then screw in the triangles on the corners. That will stiffen it up a LOT. The other idea I had for the near future is to make the whole bottom back into a desk via same shelving but instead of cutting out triangles get one that is the length of the frame, cut notches in it to fit around the poles on each side then screw down into the poles along the bottom length edge of the shelving:

    I have enjoyed this bed. We bought it for my 4 year old son. After putting it together and put in his room my wife thought it was to high. Also the loft is so high he couldn’t use the ceiling fan. First we talked about cutting the poles down by a foot so the loft was shorter. Then I thought of using pvc as a pole substitute. That way when he is older we can have the tall loft. So I bought 2 – 5 foot 1-1/4 in diameter pipe and 4 caps for feet($12) and spray paint my son picked out ($5). You do need to notch the top to fit in the top tube. For the bed height I measured his sisters lower bunk bed height. Then started with the frame heigh and drilled and assembled the bed. Be sure to use smaller bits than the bolts for a tight fit. *Bonus of making this bed short is the railings helps keep all his stuffed animals, covers and pillows on his bed. I am happy about my modification and only need to store 4 poles and a ladder.

    The bed is a little wobbly still once assembled. I will be securing it to the wall so there is no chance of it tipping. I think it’s a good deal for the price, and it allowed us to add a desk to our son’s room. The stairs hurt your feet! As you can see, some folks used pool noodles on the stairs for comfort.
