This bed frame was horrible to set up. This is not an interlocking system and required measuring for the width of the frame. The instructions were horrible on how to determine which holes to use for full bed vs queen vs king. It required 2 people for the set up. I thought the frame pieces would “interlock” as the description said but that was not the case. I am settling for this crappy frame only because I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it.

Description indicates the clearance under the frame is 5.25 inches. However, the distance is from the bottom of the cross supports; and it’s actually 5.75 inches. The distance from the bottom of the mattress supports is basically the 7 inch standard. We have a thick mattress and ordered this model based believing it was a lower profile frame as per the description. Another issue was the condition of the box as received; don’t know if this was due to the seller or the shipper. One box end was completely torn off; the other end and middle had packing tape applied. One foot support was slightly damaged but still useable. At least no pieces were missing. If it wasn’t for the misleading description, and the shipping conditions, the rating would have been higher.

It does not matter what size mattress you have and it does not matter how much you weigh. I’m 350lbs no problems with this base. Also, very easy to setup. No tools needed. Took me 5 minutes to setup!!!
