Frame is sufficient space wise but this advertises drawers. Although you can see what is pictured you don’t know until you put it together that they are not drawers but baskets (with no insert for the bottom of the basket) that are just attached to the outer material. You insert two screws then have to lift the “drasket” 🙄 up, insert into the side panel, then push down to lock in place. So advertising drawers is a bit of a stretch! With no inserts -anything you put in the baskets will collect whatever dust collects under your bed as well. Not recommended if you are needing actual drawers.

We mainly bought this because the cats were getting under the bed and using it for a playground and it was always hairy mess and hard to clean without pulling the whole bed out. And we needed to get rid of a dust ruffle for that reason also. But anyway, it is pretty sturdy though the drawers are just wire baskets on wheels that you have to fight to get them to fit flush once you pull them out. Also the frame is a good inch wider than the queen mattress and not a good fit so it slides around. The mattress does measure the standard 60 X 80, so the frame size is off a bit. Also the edges of the footboard and the drawers are sharp so be careful walking around it. I so far scrapped my shin and calf getting out of the bed and caught my leg on the corner of the footboard walking around it. We have a 10 inch mattress, but expect the bed to be a lot lower without a box spring under it. It is an adjustment all the way around. But I guess we’ll manage. At least it deters the cats.

Would not recommend the screws that hold the draw in place fall out and the whole part came out on one side. And we keep having replace when screw as it falls out. The frame was bent when we assembled it and lots of torking needed to get it straight.

When receiving our bed, we did not receive the assembly instructions. When reaching out to Bedframes.shop, they were unable to get us instructions without having to send us another bed, which will take 5 days to get. We will then have to take the instructions out of the new package and have to send the rest back! They did give us a $50 refund, but the hassle of all of this is almost not worth it. My husband and I took it upon ourselves to assemble the bed without instructions, so let’s hope we did it correctly. We needed it before the new one arrives. The bed seems sturdy and looks great in our space.
