    We ended up returning the bed, and I’ll explain why below. But I feel a little bad about that because the quality of this bed is really high. It’s real wood, the assembly is pretty easy, and the materials and tools surpassed our expectations. The problem for us was the angles of the promotional photos don’t show the thickness of the wood, in particular the headboard. It’s 3/4” – I expected something thicker, like our old crate and barrel bed. Of course, that was 3x the cost and an unfair expectation. For $500, this is a high quality and sturdy bed. I didn’t really have any complaints with it, except the style wasn’t quite what we wanted. This is a real review by a real human.

    This is a great bed frame. It arrived in one very heavy box but well packaged. It was not too hard to assemble (it took my fiancé about 1 hr; no additional tools needed as they include their own), great quality solid wood, feels sturdy (hope it remains this way), and it looks beautiful in our bedroom. Great value for money. Very pleased with the purchase.

    I love the look of the bed and it is solid wood which is what I was looking for. Feel very disappointed to find one of peg was almost broken off when we open the box and it broke off when we touched it. A small piece of wood broken off at a long piece of wood. These are minor issues that I don’t want to go through hassle of returning the bed but feel like I bought a clearance item. I think these damages came from tough handling during the delivery. I contacted a seller and they replaced the parts and I am very happy with their customer service
