   This bedframe is crazy sturdy. My husband and I are not small people and this makes no noise and does not move at all. It’s solid. We have a memory foam mattress on top. I am going to buy another for our son. It is great for quiet “romping” and other bedroom activities. It has great clearance for under bed storage and frightened pets. Heck, my 9 year old can fit under it! We attached a bedframe (also bought on Bedframes.shop) with ease. I cannot say enough about this bedframe.

   The assembly was very easy, it was honestly the operators trying to set this up that made it harder. The two smaller legs in the middle don’t touch the floor, but it is very sturdy.    If you’re an active couple this thing is great!! We were tired of replacing box springs so we found this and we’re definitely skeptical about if it would hold us and all our activity…and let me tell you it does!!! It’s great!!! The legs did keep hitting the wall but with a couple pool noodles on the legs it was fine! Also our mattress is very round and this frame is very square so the corners stick out and let me tell you hitting those suckers will you knock you down and have you in tears! So all the corners and legs are wrapped in pool noodles! But we still love it!! Hopefully it holds up great over time!!

   This is for the King sized 14 Inch Reinforced Platform Bed Frame which is supposed to be heavy duty and support 3500 lbs. The assembly process was relatively easy and we enjoyed it for 6 nights. On the 7th night the middle bar on the bed frame bent. The combined weight of my wife, two kids and me is less than 700 lbs, less than 750 lbs if you include mattress, covers and pillows and us.

   This bed arrived well packaged – every piece was protected inside the box. The assembly was extremely easy and the holes were precise and the hardware was well organized. On the first few steps it is easier to assemble it with 2 persons, but the rest is very easy even with 1 person doing it. It is extra sturdy and well made; the powder coating is perfect. I attached a separately-purchased headboard and it attached extremely easily – An excellent product!

   Very sturdy. No squeaking or creaking. The negatives……. Frame sticks out around the bed (design is so mattress sits inside, doesn’t slide around) and the legs are flush with frame. That said, corners and legs are sharp! Hubs caught a leg with his toes, dropped him to the ground, in pain. Corners need to be rounded. Legs possibly set in about an inch. Hubs put pipe insulation around legs. Corners, haven’t figured that out yet.

   I absolutely love this bed frame. It was easy to put it together by myself. The only issue I have had has been when someone would sit at the foot of the bed. When they got up I guess the mattress would stick to a bed slat and pop out when the person would stand. I easily solved this by placing some duct tape at the top of each end of the slats. You do have to be cautious you do not stump your toe or hit your shin. It will hurt if you do! That’s a small price to pay for the comfort and support this bed frame offers! I ordered the king size frame.

    My husband and I got this bed on Jan 3rd 2020 it is March 17th 2020. This bed is not sturdy at all 3 months in and it is Boeing, breaking, and started squeaking today. We got it because it said it was sturdy it 100% lies ive never had a bed frame brake so fast. My husband and I have a combined weight of 500 pounds that is no where near its max out weight. This bed is a waste of money and time I am more then disappointed with this bed frame I mean just look at the photos they talk for themselves. We also can not get a refund for this bed it is 100% a waste if money DO NOT waste yoyr hard earned money on this peice of trash

    This was a PAIN to put together! After carefully reading and following the assembly directions, we realized the manufacturer holes were not drilled correctly for 1 of the corners(the D corner, at the head of the bed). You can see in the pictures just how far off the holes were. Thank goodness my husband works with metal, we had to drill out and make the hole bigger. Very disappointed. Also, another hole at the foot of the bed had a metal tag left in it, and the screw would not go through, the metal on that hole also had to be ground out. And I thought the slats wold be closer together. Once we took care of all these problems, and got the bed assembled, it seems to be a very sturdy and quiet bed frame. My only complaints are about the assembly and manufacturers screwup. It took 3 hours to fix this….getting the tools, grinding the metal, metal shavings in the carpet, vacuum up that mess was awful. Have you ever had a metal splinter in your foot….it ain’t easy to get out….just keeps working it’s way in. awful, awful, awful.

    I purchased this one because I was so pleased with the queen size, 18” frame I bought earlier. It’s fabulous! Sturdy, I’m a76 yo woman and could not lift and carry the package to an upstairs bedroom, but opened it downstairs and carried the pieces a few at a time. And there are plenty of pieces. Instructions were easy to follow and everything was well marked. Both beds are stable and quiet with lots of clearance under the bed. And best of all, my mattresses feel new.

    We have now owned this frame for almost a year and have no complaints. It still is sturdy, does not make any noise when we move and the mattress stays put. As I mentioned below, we did use a low profile box spring and both that and the mattress stay put. I am really glad we made this purchase.

    We have had this bed frame for a couple of weeks now and are very happy with it. Assembly wasn’t difficult if you studied the pictures. The tools that came with it were adequate. They got the job done. It is very sturdy and comfortable and makes no noise at all. My husband made sure to tighten all the bolts well. We chose to use our low profile split box springs even though it’s not necessary. We just wanted the extra height. The mattress and box spring stay put. Both he and I are heavy set people and we feel secure on this bed frame.

    Bought this frame for my overweight nephew who is about 500lbs. He is aware and careful of his weight so does not put undue pressure on anything he sits or lies on. This bed was bought in Oct 2022 to ensure it could hold him. It broke in Jul 2023.
    Bedframes.shop won’t stand behind this product and continues to advertise it as being able to sustain 3500lbs.
    I suggest Bedframes.shop is not to be trusted for large ticket items with an expectation of longevity.

    All in all a good product. I learned within a few days to watch my feet on this one as I did stub my toe quite a few times. Definitely recommend tucking your comforter in underneath so you see the legs. The set up process wasn’t too bad. It was pretty self explanatory, but was difficult to line up some of the holes to the screws perfectly. I recommend not tightening the screws too far when you start assembling and also use the picture as this helped a lot. I went to a mattress place near me before buying this and they admitted this would be a lot better than anything they had as far as quality and looks go. I think the design can be improved a it by recessing the legs and also rounding the corners. Also important to onow is the design is made so that it holds the mattress in place and the matress falls into a recess. This is very nice. I don’t have to worry about slipping around.

    And so I was skeptical at first but I really needed a new frame for my bed because the old one was broken. I bought mine on Bedframes.shop Prime day. The packaging was not too good and there was a little confusion on what goes where upon starting because the instructions are not very clear but we used our common sense and were able to figure it out after that it was a breeze to put together. We needed no tools but the ones included. My teenage daughter did most of the work. The bed sits really high now. More under bed storage space. Give it a try. My husband loves it.

    I had to come back and review this. We’ve had no issues with the king size frame. It holds up amazingly. We bought a purple mattress (also holds up great) but the frame it came with broke very soon after purchase. Instead of getting another frame that would probably break, we bought this one. We did add some thin pressboard to help support the mattress. The creaking it makes I would classify as minimal to little, though I don’t have much to compare it to.

    Bought this in 2019 so I do realize it lasted 3 good years, but now after it’s only had about 190 lbs per night on it- it breaks and my expensive mattress sags. There’s no way it can withstand thousands of pounds, I feel completely ripped off. It started creaking a few months in & I realized about a year in that not all the bottoms had protectors which has caused permanent damage to hardwood. The corners are dangerous- especially to littles ones and pets but to adult shins too! Do yourself a favor and find something better!

    I am very happy with this purchase. It only took me about 30 minutes to put together. I like the 14″ height. It seems just about right with a 12″ mattress. (I also purchased a 16″ frame and it seems a little tall with the 12″ mattress.) The frame has a small recessed area where the mattress withs down on, making a metal edge around the mattress. This would prevent any danger of the mattress “slipping”. But it also makes it much easier to stub your toes on the frame. I think, if I had it to do again, I would buy one where the mattress just sits on top of the frame.

    Instructions were hard to follow, more picture oriented then with text to follow. Bolts and Screws were not labeled on packaging so you had to guesstimate with pictures found on assembly manual. Screws had to be aligned perfectly to fit and one screw, included in picture would not go in no matter how aligned it was, found a work around by using the ranch they included. Will do a permanent fix by drilling in a screw and bolt at this joint (not included in original purchase). Value is you get what you pay for (I’m on a budget), if you can shell out the extra $200-300 for a bed frame made in the US.

    I received this pretty quickly which was great. So far so good but the instructions were not clear, only two items were marked and the hardware was not vacuum sealed so the pieces were all over the box. It does seem very heavy duty. I would suggest vacuum sealing or better packaging on the hard ware. I would have gave it 5 stars if the instructions were a bit clearer and the hardware wasn’t all over the box and inside the pieces. I assembled it by myself in about 2 hours, it took a bit to figure out the instructions but once I did,it was easy peasy.

    I purchased the king size model and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it was. Putting it together was a little more difficult than anticipated and is definitely a 2 person job but I was satisfied with the finished product. My wife and myself are bigger people and we needed a heavy duty, sturdy bed frame. After putting this together I was a little skeptical at first but after sleeping on it for a week I am definitely happy with my purchase. Upon reading some other reviews I noticed some people had trouble with their mattresses falling through the slates which caused the frame to break, so I placed a piece of plywood over the slates just as a precaution and it worked out beautifully. It was an additional $40 cost for the plywood but we’ll worth it. I’ve tried many other frames and even though I’ve only owned this one for a short while it is definitely a good buy 👍

    Managed to put the whole thing together by myself &’ im not handy with tools. That should tell you how simple this was to put together. You will mostly likely have to disassemble small parts a few times just to make sure it’s correct or to fix something but other than that it’s great! The tools are good, it gives extra nails, &’ it’s very sturdy. I’m 250 pounds &’ have been on it for sometime now, no noise or anything. Plus the extra space on the bottom makes for wonderful storage space.

    Middle support of this bed frame was construced backwards. I had to drill away the rivet in order to get it to work. You can see in the photo that the supports are up and down. They should all be facing up in order to accomodate the metal slats. Also, nowhere near as sturdy as the description claims. It’s ok but not what they describe. Very dissatisfied with the fact I had to remove a rivet to make this frame work. Would not buy again. NOTICE I am changing my review rating due to the excellent customer service following my review. The company offered to exchange, replace or resolve in whatever way made me happy. In the end, they gave me a nice percent refund which made up for the hassle. I am changing my 2 stars to 4 because we are using it and it seems to work well.

    I bought this mattress frame April 14, 2019. Seemed very sturdy and was fairly easy to put together. I really liked the amount of space underneath for storage. However, in December 2020 we were moving the frame from a downstairs bedroom to an upstairs bedroom and after removing the mattress I was shocked to find the frame bent. I took several pictures and sent an email on 1/4/21 to [email protected] which was the email listed for warranty requests and still have not received a reply. I have tried contacting seller through Bedframes.shop and have had no response from them. This bed was used rarely used and when it was it was used by my daughter when she would come home from college or my 12 year old son when he wanted to sleep downstairs. This bed was rated for 3500 lbs yet it bent with less than 200.
