Great for when you need a temporary frame, but know that this is NOT a suitable base for long-term use, because the space between the metal supports is too wide to properly support a mattress. When I switched to my new wood slat platform bed, I immediately felt a difference in the level of support (there is only an inch or two between the wood slats, so it’s much more supportive). My mattress had been sagging between the supports of this metal frame. But it did the job getting my mattress off the floor for a little while.
