   This is an ok bed that serves its puprose at an inexpensive price but don’t expect perfection. It was easy to assemble and feels solid. The biggest issue is with the rails that support the box spring. If the bed gets bumped, it is easy to disconnect the rails when attempting to adjust the box spring. With the rails disconnected, the entire bed has to be removed to fix the rails that came out. The bed fell apart recently, bars are bent and disconnected from fabric linking them. Disappointing.

   The instructions are clearly labeled, and the entire thing assembled in less time than other beds I’ve bought from furniture stores. The ONLY downside is the slats that hold up the mattress. I was expecting them to be screwed in to the frame, so they don’t accidentally slip while I’m putting the mattress on top.
   I got this bed for my autistic son who needed a new bed; he rocks himself from side to side while he’s laying in bed every night to help himself fall asleep. Given that these slats aren’t secured in place by anything other than gravity, it’s just a matter of time before they’ll slide off the frame and dump my son to the space beneath his bed.
   My ex husband is coming around this weekend with his heavy-duty drill and we’re going to drill our own bolt holes in a few of the slats, to secure them to the frame so I don’t have to worry about my son falling through his bed when he’s rocking at night.
   I know that my issue is very singular, and no one but me will have the same concerns about their slats not being secured to the frame, but I did remove a star for that because it just feels like something I would expect all bed frames to have: secured slats holding up the mattress.

   My son really wants a clean, minimal look for his room, so he enjoys having this as his new bed frame. It was easy to put together and has great instructions. It takes two people, though, just to get everything straight, so it is good to have a helper when assembling it. The bed does not need a box spring so that is one thing we will need to get rid of.

   Product was easy to assemble and looked sturdy after installation. After few days, I went to change the bed sheets. The ribbon/string connecting the slats were falling apart and slats were bending.
